So the day has finally came! I'm impressed. It's unfortunate the royalboy just has to have a beard though. Sigh.

They're ok. Not the worst royal pets, but I definitely wouldn't pay 4 million np for one. For THAT pricetag, they should be heart-stoppingly spectacular.

I think the Royal Girl Krawk is great. I'd rank it in my top 10 pets. They Royal Boy Krawk however I think looks... eww. Besides the statusness of it I wouldn't keep it if I got it from a random event. The spikes/hair makes it look kind of like it's balding and the furry eye brows don't help it either. The girl's dress looks cute and well drawn, the boy's costume doesn't look good at all imo, I don't like his colors either.

Also there is a grey korbat:

I think they could've done a lot better. Korbats in general need a redraw. I really don't get why grey pets are so popular, my only guess is that it has to do with that stupid emo fad.
I think the grey furniture looks really funny, the sad grey toilet is hilarious!

I agree- he looks like he's just got indigestion.

I wholeheartedly disagree with your statement on grey pets, they're very popular because some of them look absolutely fantastic:

I'd say those two are definately worth their price tag, they convey the feeling of grey well, yet there sadly, are many pets that simply fail to convey the colour well, and they are the ones we are constantly recieving:

I sadly also think the Korbat falls into the catagory, you don't need to look as 'depressed' as the Ixi or Yurble, but some pets, like the Grarrl, can still pull off a great grey without looking so... sad. I think grey is a great colour, just often poorly executed.

Yes I agree that some grey pets are drawn very well but I wouldn't want my pets to look all depressed like that. TNT should make the basic colours more appealing instead of making "on the verge of tears/ life is hopeless" popular. I would only paint a pet grey if i didn't like it's character (in otherwords I don't like the character that grey pets present in apperance) and I certainly wouldn't pay more than a mil to paint a pet I didn't like.

Why? What's wrong with having pets that look sad? Why should TNT enforce a happy-happy-smiley policy?

I'm not saying they all have to be happy-morphinic-sun-shine-smiley but I've been around enough people who had depression (and some who wanted to have depression but really didn't ) long enough to know that sad is not cool.

Just to add in my two cents, yes, depression in real life isn't cool.
But this is an online game. And ONE paintbrush. There are several happy-go-lucky-smile paint brushes out there, such as faerie and island, disco..

So they decided to have one color that's totally opposite of it. It's really a matter of choice thing. You said you wouldn't want to see your pets that color - no one's making you. (except maybe the Lab Ray.) ^^"

So yeah. It's understandable to not like a color and everything, but the way you posted made it sound like someone was going to force you to paint your pets like that. XD;

Though the only Grey pet I would get would be the Lupe, personally..

And if I ever get a Krawk, I think I'd paint it Royalgirl... that is just beautiful looking. ^_^

Actually, most of the people I know who've suffered from depression, including myself, absolutely adore grey pets. Why wouldn't you want your own little Eeyore to cuddle and love?

The krawks, I think, are rather unimpressive. I don't much care for krawks outside of Maraquan, but I really dislike the colors and that they're Meridell looking royalty yet again. I was hoping our newest royals would be from Altador.

I really hope there's an Altador paint brush at some point- I really like the Greek/Roman style of the shopkeepers.
