It's written into the flash code of the telescope.

So the order of the constellations is already planed out, right?

Well when someone decomplied the flash for the telescope there were 12 images. apparently when lined up according the number order or something
they come up with a list. Sleeper was the first one on that list and Sleeper was first found, Dreamer was 2 on list and second found, Third was 1st to rise and was third to be found. Well the others have proceeded in the same fashion. So I guess we can use that list to predict later ones, ya? I believe but not sure that our guy is next on the list, that's why i'm looking for locations that will correspond to his nature.

Let's just say that the Collector is the next one..

I've always liked him, because I'm a Libra and he holds a set of scales :D
The scales make me think that our next contellation may be found somewhere that has to do with money...? Or balance, but money seems more likely... like a tax collector?

This is just me thinking out loud... brainstorming is always a good thing!

That's what I was hoping someone else could tell us ;)
Where in Altador would a tax collector be found?? I've racked my brain trying to come up with an answer, but no luck :S

I have an idea that the collector's constellation will be found in the house on the cliff, above Magical Marvels. That's just me, though.

MY Theoretical constellation locations:
*Collector: mentioned above

*Thief: I say again, the little place in the woods near the one city wall on the left side.

*Gatherer: The circular structure beneath the Hall of Heroes(HoH)

*Hunter: The brown slab on the back wall of HoH(looks like a bow and arrow on it)

*Protector: ????? All I know is this is probably the last one, NOT King Altador, because she's the one who put the city in a time bubble and stole the history.

I'm sure that the island in the distance in Altador must be revealed at some point - maybe the Thief as a hideout?

Or it could be an island full of Petpets, where the Collector would be found.

If petpets inhabit the island, it will be more related to the gatherer...

But, anyway, I think that, whatever theories we can imagine when we are waiting (even if they are still a funny way to kill time time between clues), the best (and far easiest) way to actually find it is to click on anything new appears on the map, wich we can scroll using tab, so, even if someone DOES figure out who's next and where to find him, he will hardly be any faster than anybody else...

But nah, I'm still comming here to keep up with new theories, many of wich are pretty good ( and probably pretty acurate too) and I won't stop to do so, I'm starting to like you very much guys :)

And as I'm now beginning to stroll on other part of the the forum to, I take this occasion to say I LOVE IT ALL, I LOVE ALL OF YOU AND I LOVE EACH AND EVERY SINGLE NEOPIAN OF THIS TOO SERIOUS WORLD!!!

sorry, that was my love surplus expressing itself, I wont do that again

The two links to the co-ordinate finders on the first page are both ineffective for me. The second one tells me I have bad star data, and the first one just doesn't find anything. Do I have to wait a while for them to work or something? I copied the star data exactly. Help!

You may just want to start at the beginning of the instructions. Number one. That might clear up some things.

If you are trying to use the star charts before you find the first clue, or the telescope for that matter, that may explain your error messages.

No, I've followed the guide up to where it says to find the constellations. Wait, except... Where it says about clicking the top pixels of the statues, is that necessary? I was told that it wasn't, so I left it out, with there being a picture right there an all. That might explain it... I'll try doing the statue things, then try the finder again.

EDIT: Also, what do you mean by 'mapping' it? Darkfire's star mapper had no box on the page with which to put in the co-ords, so how do I map it?

EDITx2: Yay! The co-ords thing worked, thanks. Still haven't mapped anything though, how do I do that?

There is a box, just scroll down further. It should be right above the empty box where your stars will be. It's also the only box that has a white background.

What exactly do you mean. If you have the cords, you should be able to put them into the star mapper. Then go and get the guide for whatever const you need and then search for it.

Even though the plot is finished, I'm continuing my list of all the spells and what they do. If someone would like to help me please pm me. Results are here http://www.neopets.com/~Queen_Ranth

That is a very good point - I get confused between the Gatherer and the Collector.

I thought the Collector looked a bit like the Skeith from the Bank, so I went and checked around there, just in case. But nothing. Quelle surprise. It was a bit of a wierd thought, but now everybody knows that the Collector is not found in the bank.

Anyway, do you think TNT would transfer the plot to other lands - have some constellations hidden in other places? Personally, I see it staying in Altador, but it could well move.
