How do Draiks rank among fighting pets?

I don't think Draiks have any advantages.

Really bugs me that Draiks and Krawks (as i have a krawk) don't have any special abilities or weapons, being that they are the most expensive pets they should, i think.

I agree...I own a Krawk as well, and it is silly of TNT not to give krawks any good weapons. Krawk shields and swords are all utterly useless, and full krawk armor is one of the worst full armors out there.

Draik - 10% earth, 10% fire resistances

So Draiks apparantly do have some resistance to certain elements, but Krawks don't. :(

I think Pteri are also very nice. 40% air resistance is the most impressive one out there and there's high end weapons that do a lot of air. Also, they're amazing for wars because they have the worm magic cure-all.

When you get into *really* high levels, the Ixi will actually gain a big advantage, due to being able to beat high earth attacks of peas and I-staff and such.

Mid level (until you can afford a jade/LEV) Kacheeks really are the best, with their 66 percent healer (that is actually affordable).

But alas, being a labber, I don't have a static species yet :D

The Kacheek healer is actually only a 2/3 one if you use it at the exact right time (when you have just over 1/3 of your HP left), which is difficult. If you drop below 1/3 of your HP, it's only a 33% healer. I actually prefer the 50% ones (gelert, elephante, lenny, etc.).

Attack peas could be a concern (I know of only one guy with an I-Staff), but most people have the SoS/Ghostkersword (or Pirate Captains Cutlass) combo rather than peas, so it's more dark and air you need to worry about. Pteris are good for the air resistance.

According to IdB, Yurbles have no weakness/resistances, but they do have some good species weapons and abilities. Same with Kougras.

Does anyone know for sure that a Xweetok doesn't have resistances, and also what are their final two species abilities? So far all I got was Xweetok Swish at Lv.3, which is just two icons of Earth. IDB seems to have something against Xweetok info.
