I don't think anyone knows yet and I haven't seen much speculation about it myself...could have missed it. I hope it will be more useful than the Astronomy Club Badge has been so far.

Yes, I feel it must be useful, simply because it says
Quote:
This device is used to calculate the positions of celestial bodies.
meaning it must be useful. But the calculate celestial bodies part? What's that? I went to my telescope but it seemed nothing had changed. Perhaps TNT will introduce some clues as to it's use soon.

The club badge description is just to say you are accepted in the club. However, it may prove to have it's uses eventually.

Totally off-topic, and very sorry, but what do you think of my signature banner? :battar:

An astrolabe is a device that charts stars and was invented by the greeks. I believe thats what it is refering too

Reading this sig is not a waste of 5 seconds of your life... unless you took 5 seconds to read it

That charts stars? I'm probably being insanely stupid, but what do you mean by that?

Maybe we will have to use the constellations or gems above the statues to navigate to the other side of Neopia? Maybe the aim of the plot is to reveal the other side of Neopia?

I can envision us all now, navigating our way by sea, reminding the Altadorians of .. whatever they can't remember .. that we haven't figured out yet. Maybe we will have to do lots of mathematical calculations soon.

maybe rather than having to give out prizes at the end of the plot like in previous ones they're giving out the prizes as you go. although its strange that they're non-tradable items.

Yeah, maybe they will :D

Revealing another side of neopia sounds interesting...lol :) There's no War, and, to be fair it is nowhere near as difficult as the lost desert plot, so their must be something to reveal at the end.

yeah but what if it starts out easy and starts getting more and more difficult later on , plus finding constellations might just be the beginning...

Finding constellations could be the beginning...but I wonder what else neopets may introduce? That temple was annoying enough...it can't be much more difficult than that...can it?

Maybe if altador IS on the other side of Neopia, completing this plot will result in the altadorians remembering where they are, and showing us Neopians the new places on the other side.

That would be neat if they introduced the other side of Neopia. It sure would open things up to develop more places you could go and do things. It's possible, though, that Altador is underneath the faerie cloud, maybe even connected to Marqua.

I have a theory that there will be some elaborate mathematcal equation using the constellations that reveals a location that will cause the plot to move on to the next phase. In other words, the constellations are arranged in a pattern that leads you to the next stage of the plot. The next constellation is anyone's guess, but I have a feeling it'll be the thief. Do you think we should make a simplified overview of the plot so far, so people looking to get caught up can do it quickly?

a simple overview..? On the first page of every thread there is a simple overview, a list of basic steps u need to follow. How much more simple do u need?

Wonder if another constellation has been released and we are missing something....

I think the guide on the first page is about as basic as it can get. You can't skip any of the sections mentioned there, and it doesn't take more than about five or ten minutes to get up to date with all the stuff up to the constellations. Then, it's just finding them, which cannot be cut down any more.

EDIT: Sorry, Myriadman, missed your post.

Complicated math to do this plot? That would be horrible, I'm no good at math anymore. The only time I'm kind-of good at math is during and right after a class, otherwise - poof! - it's gone.
