"Clash of the Titans" is a new series of polls that pits one titan of today's world (companies, brands, etc.) against another. Because the range of topics for this is huge, when all available options have been used, the winner will be placed into the Hall of Fame.

-----------

Last Week's Winner

Again, Ford came out of the clash on top of DaimlerChrysler. The results (which were similar to the first round):

Ford Motor Company: 76%
DaimlerChrysler: 23%

Total Votes: 13

After popular demand, this week's poll is between Ford and the first foreign competitor, Toyota.

-----------

Facts about the Titans

Ford Motor Company
- Founded in 1903
- Produces Ford, Lincoln, Mercury, Mazda, Volvo, Jaguar, Land Rover, and Aston Martin vehicles
- Revenue in 2005 was $178.1 billion USD

Toyota Motor Company
- Founded in 1933
- Produces Toyota, Lexus, Hino, and Daihatsu vehicles
- Revenue in 2005 was $173 billion USD

-----------

Future Competitors
This is just a list of competitors that will show up in future rounds. Because the poll category has to do with automakers, these listed are only automakers. These are no particular order.

Volkswagen
Renault-Nissan
PSA Peugeot Citroen

(Note: This list is shorter than I projected it to be, because I'm trying to limit this to less than 10 automakers so this category doesn't go on forever.)

-----------

Feedback
You can suggest any kind of brand name/company to compete, it doesn't just have to relate to the certain topic (in this week's case, automakers)

(And yes, I started it a little early. Who cares? :P)

Although I know they won't win, I voted for my boys at Toyota. Not just because I am a huge fan of everything Japanese. Not just because I like the Prius. (Hey! I want one of the new hybrid Explorers too!) I voted for them since I generally like their models and record of fuel economy. (I still like Ford though).

Well, it looks like Toyota is winning so far. :P I like Toyota too, mainly because of their models. I also like the new Tundra-esque vehicle they're coming out with soon.

Toyota because I like driving my dad's Camry. ;) I don't really have anything against Ford though. I just prefer Toyota.
