On the janitor discuss, I do think that his talk is linked to the next constellation location, even if I find the firsts ones pretty hard to figure out, but it comes obvious only after we find the place. It's still easier to find whatever new link appears on the altador map or any of the related places. Because, yes, for example, we can obviously make a link between the "barn" he acuse us to come from and the farm where the farmer patern was found, but there was no barn to search in before they release the farm link (and there was no clue wasover that the building was a farm at all). So yes, the janitor's talk means something, but if TNT means us to rely on it, I found it pretty harsh :o

Nevertless, maybe some brilliant mind on this forum will be able to forseen the clues with it, and we can't spit on any more tiny help ;)

I dunno, he seems to talk about lights most of the time, and it's incredibly easy to twist what he says into 'clues' in hindsight, but I don't see that much relation.

Well, giving out the clues beforehand gives us time to delve into their actual meaning... doesn't seem harsh in my book...

oh.... i'm bored out of my mind... if anyone needs help finding their constellation in the meantime, pm me your star map coordinates and i'll see what I can do (yay, i'm helping :D ).

'morning everyone.

I've updated the first post to stress the fact that if you do use a starmapper that you must update it after you have done the necessary steps just before going to look in your sky. Hopefully that'll help with the *I cant find it* problems.

Especially since we have them nifty proggies!

I think that the phrase 'born in a barn' was just too much of a coincidence to be unrelated to the farmer - why else would TNT pick up specifically on the windowsill, and have the janitor complain about footprints and a barn, except so as to act as a clue to the next location.

Does anyone have the link to the Altadorian Archives? Flash player won't install properly on my work computer so I can't see Altador.

And thanks to ScottNak for changing the front page (although it isn't morning for all of us, so good evening to some)

Heh, yeah. ^^ I haven't played the DF game, but anyways, will other areas of Neopia such as Terror Mountain, Faerieland, the Haunted Woods, etc. be affected by the DF even if there is no war? *cries* Because in the TCG there are things like Tainted Meridell and such. And will there be a tainted paint brush.....? :P

I haven't played DF either, but they wouldn't base the plot on the game, or make the game essential to complete the plot, because otherwise, everybody who didn't or couldn't buy the game would miss out, which would be very unfair.

Nope I think TNT mentioned a fact that there won't be a paintbrush - you have to take a visit to the Darkest Faeries bathroom after one of her long sessions and the rest is speculation...

Where would that be? I know TNT said no war, but people have been talking about a 'tainted' paint brush and it seems interesting. The TCG has taught us some things, like constellations....

Next constellation theory

Thu Apr 06, 2006 6:08 pm

OK, so I know many people think the Wave will be next, but I have to say, I think it will be the gladiator. If you look at the Janitor's words this time.

"The janitor shouts, "My favorite underground dance club got closed down by that stinkin' Archivist! GRAARGH, THAT MAKES ME SO ANGRY!!!" He hurls his mop to the floor and stamps his feet."

That is not how a person would normally spell a growl, or a complaint. It is awfully close to being a Grarrl, which is what Torakor is.

Also, the throwing of the mop down, and stamping his feet, throwing something down, means making a challenge sometimes, and stamping his feet, a bull does that in a bullfight, which takes place in a colosseum. I know that might be a bit far fetched, but I have been following the Janitor for all of the constellations, and so far they have all worked. But that is just my opinion.

Thu Apr 06, 2006 6:12 pm

I posted this in the previous thread, but I think it's still rather relevant:

The Janitor nows says "GRAAAGH!," which strikes me as something similar to what stereotypical pirates say. His action of hurling the mop to the floor is oddly emphasized, perhaps in correlation to the ship phrase of "swabbing the poop deck." Perhaps the Wave's clue will be found on one of the ships in Altador's harbor. After all, finding the Wave's constellation on a wave seems a bit too obvious...

I always give credit where credit is due: my roommate hypothesized the breakdown of the Janitor's speech.

Thu Apr 06, 2006 7:10 pm

Oh and on the Janitors speech

curse you, is related to the Darkest Faeries Curse.. not sure if anyones said that

and i agree with the person abolve me with next thing is tokagor, because angry = fighting in the colleseaum :P
