Is it just me, or is the wording of the last sentence strange? "getting up to" is a weird way of putting it

Maybe 'getting up to' is a clue to which statue we're looking for next. Maybe one that can fly, or who is 'up' a lot. Or maybe it's just the way they decided to phrase it.

My theory is still that it is the Thief next. It's just the suspicion in the Janitor's sentence that seems to imply that to me.

Seems like the phrase is similar to 'what are you up to' which implies suspicious or hidden behaviour. That supports the thief as much as any thing else.

Basically this is telling u that before u try looking for each costellation u need to do the correct steps and get your current star-data, so that u know the current position of all the stars...

Well, let's hope there's another update tomorrow, so we cna check this theory. If we can see clearly that it is similar to what the Janitor is saying, then it could prove that he is a far more integral part of the plot than predicted.

Also, there are 53 pages in the book. Assuming that there are four pages per constellation, that still leaves two pages at the end of the book. Could this be a forward to another book, or would these final two pages include the end of the plot? I hope it's not the end of the plot - finding constellations is all very well, but it's not hugely difficult, and, despite being a mini-plot, I'm sure Neopets can come up with more than just constellation finding

I'll double check the entire map ...cause I'm pretty sure i'm in that part of the plot...I've been doing all the steps and even the clue in the farm appear when I click it.

Thank you:D

Just wanted to doublecheck this, but you're using the same browser to do all the run-up stuff (like visiting the Farm and the Archives) as you are using to get your star data, right? Reason I ask is because some people who had problems before were on different accounts at the same time (which is possible if you use two different types of browsers at the same time). While they were looking for clues on one account, they were getting the star data from another, so the two did not match.

Anyway, it had been decided the best way to doublecheck your plot and constellation status is to go to the Lenny at the Archives and ask to look at the clues thus far. If you are supposed to be looking for the Farmer, the Farmer clue should be listed.

Here's the direct URL to the list:
http://www.neopets.com/altador/archives ... lue_list=1

BTW, I don't think your coordinates are wrong (at least not for that star map you used to get those coordinates) because they are exactly like ours (which have been successfully submitted and accepted) except, of course, in a different location in the sky. It has to be something else.

Just checked..I use the same browser for everything and In the clues the last one I Got is the Farmer One...That's what I found so weird..I did all the steps..Twice..

Just found my farmer. ^_^ The first time I submited it, it sayed "Double-checking..." For about 5 minutes...so I did it agian in another window, and it took about five seconds. xD

DF's mapper and format thingys saved me again. I found it was easier to search for a triangle-shaped formation(the base) and work it from there. Found it quite quickly...about, 5 minutes or so.

The astronomy club leader is really starting to dislike us...

somthing I wonder: Why is it just US finding the clues? I know it sounds strange to ask, but the question remains: Why havn't the altadorians found this stuff before, and mapped the constalations?

I had problems with my 1st to rise and some of you tried to help.
I just wanted to say that she finally showed up on my map.
My star map has shifted, my sleeper and dreamer used to be off to the right, above each other and now they are to the left.
The dreamer is no longer right above my sleeper, she's more to the left, it's a good size shift.
Thought i'd post to give those that had the same problem of a constellation not showing up ...some hope. With each stage this may happen to different people.
Not only was i able to finally get my 1st to Rise but i got the Farmer too. :)

Oh and with the missing History books.....i think the Blumaroo from the Astronomy club has them...he's seems to be mighty upset. ;)
Ok i babbled enough. :P

asking a question from another board that may be related to the plot, is any one that is up to current on the plot, have found the farmer, having problems with neopets, i think it can be a form of proof in regard to the thief theory, but using it as an excuse for neopets being meesed up.

I'm American and always thought it was a perfectly fine thing to say, too. :-)

As others have pointed out, it means "What are you doing?" with the implication that the speaker thinks there's the possibility you may be doing something you're not supposed to. It's the sort of thing you might say to your kids or your cats. (The kids are more likely to answer.)

I think it's all just speculation at this point. They'll release the next clue when they release it. :-)

I am from New England, and we have our own language here, lol. I forgot that the folks at Neopets are English.
As far as the cats or kids, I have a cat that would probably tell you what he was up to

Can someone please help me find the Farmer constellation? I've tried but I couldn't seem to find it. And now even Stodder's constellation finder won't open for me. I can PM my star data to anyone who's willing to help. Thanks.

Ya, I'd like to question alot of stuff like that sometimes. But it's easier to say that we're special.
