If the data isn't mapping, check the archives.. does it show the farmer clue? Do we know when the clue shows??

I have a feeling that the clue doesn't show until after you've found the constellation. I went to see the Lenny after finding the clue for the Farmer, but I don't remember the link to the clues being there.

I could be totally wrong though so don't quote me on that. LoL.

The clues are there, but I can't positively say if the current clue is there before you find the constellation. The link exists, but I don't know if it updates after the clue, or the constellation.

I had to reconnect my lines three times on this last one. It was easy to find but hard to connect for some reason. Maybe I was just too tired.

Ah. See, shows how much attention I pay to these things. I guess I was more interested in making sure everything was done right so I'd have the correct set of data and didn't really look at what was on the page.

Anyway, I guess we should ask anyone who hasn't yet found their Farmer to maybe check with the Lenny to see if the Farmer clue goes up before or after you find the constellation...

Anyone volunteering?!

Stampsyne, I know the feeling!

Oh, someone mentioned they thought the flames on the DF statue were different? They definitely are. I don't know what it means, but ...

I had a problem with unclickable stars when looking for the Farmer too... then I realized I hadn't deleted the previous wrong constellation after I'd sent it. Did you try that?

Do you mean that the pattern clue on the haybales is added to the Archivist's list BEFORE you find the constellation? If so, then yes, it is. I went and talked to the Archivist before I looked for the Farmer const., and clicked on the link for the list just for good measure. The Farmer clue was there. I remember because I was using that page to remind myself what the devil I was looking for. :)

Yea, that's exactly what we were trying to sort out, so thanks for letting us know. I'm not sure how important it will be, but it's good to know anything that might matter at some point.

The janitor says, "It sure is interesting watching those lights on the ceiling light up. What are you getting up to in that observatory, anyway?"

Doesn't seem very helpful to me... I like it better when he's yelling at us, anyway. He looks funny then. :D

Umm... Didn't he mention how pretty the lights looked before? I think for the First to Rise or was it the Dreamer. Maybe this hints to the sky (where we found the Dreamer)or sunlight striking (where we found the First to Rise) somewhere as the next clue... oo maybe the next clue will be in the observatory (because he mentions it). Somehow, that seems too convenient.

I think the Gather or Collector will be next because they refer to the villagers as sharing their crops with Florin. This could also be based on the fact that the Sleeper, the Dreamer, and the First to Rise follow a pattern of someone sleeping and then waking up. A logical sequence for the next three would be to Farm, then to Gather (or Collect but I think the collecting refers to money). HoweverI'm not sure who would come next, possibly the Collector (collecting taxes on produce) or somebody else. I imagine that King Altador will be the last constellation found.

I sort of have to agree about the Gatherer being next. And you are right about the Collector being more money-oriented.

Unfortunately, the "patterns" don't hold entirely true because if that was the case, who does the Wave match? It's easy enough to draw connections between Jerdana and Torokar (Protection v Gladiator), Gordos and Kelland (Collector v Thief)... and even, at a stretch to add Sasha to the end of the Florin/Fauna chain (the Dancer to mark the festivities after a harvest, etc.)

I just really can't see what pattern Marak fits into. Or really, for that matter, Altador.

Found mine fairly easily this time. Thanks to the guides and such, so thank you guys for putting them up. :)

Now to just sit around and wait for the next one to come out. Joy.

*clicks around Alator for the heck of it, maybe searching for clues*

Maraqua

Anyone else see the similarities?

PLUS, the aforementioned statue in the Maraquan Ruins...

My roommate and I were actually just discussing this, LOL. The only thing that I can think of is that maybe there's a drought, and Marak brings water to the crops? Or freshwater, at least, since the city is surrounded by an ocean... or maybe he teaches them about irrigation? *is stretching for plausible conclusions*

Sad, isn't it, that this is what my roommate and I discuss... :P

Okay, was thinking about connections between the Heroes, so how about this:

Sleeper --> Dreamer --> First to Rise

Farmer --> Gatherer --> Dancer

Collector --> Thief --> Gladiator

Wave --> Protector --> Hunter

Okay, some of those are a bit of a stretch (especially the final line). But if TNT is making these sorts of patterns, then perhaps they're the sort of things we should be trying to crack.

Anyway, this is my last post for the day... I'm off home. Finally!

I think part of the problem a few of us have been having with the farmer is connecting the lines in the right pattern. I went to the star mapper, found my constellation, and then went to the observatory. I connected all the dots and double checked that I had the right ones. No luck, no constellation.

I had all of the dots on the right stars but the pattern as wrong. I tried to put the split at the bottom of the constellation not the top of the constellation. Until I fixed it so that the lines and the stars all matched the image in hay field nothing happened. Maybe I'm was missing something else too, but once I put the lines in right I got the constellation with the same set of stars that did not work twice.

I'm glad the clue list updates after we have found the clue to the constellation.. it gives us a clue where things have gone wrong when folks are having problems. For the guy with the non clickable stars, if he didn't have farmer in the clue list, he would be sure there is an error in his steps, not a plot bug.
