Ugh. I've just reduced the price by 10 NP, It appears there isn't much of a Market for Dubloons. I haven't earned any profit on this.

The reason is simply due to low demand. Some items are just hard to sell since dubloons are not required for quests, and Cove items are simply bought. The academy only accepts pets with level lower than 40...
My snorkle snouts have been sitting in my shop for days.
Well, I sold 1 since everyone loves a new avatar

Which items do have a large demand?

food, books, chocolates, toys, codestones and strong BD items.

I don't understand, why would anyone require food, books, chocolates, or toys? Collectors, or something?

Faerie quests. Those are all very common faerie quest items, and the turnover is good. You can make a steady income with any or all of them, once you learn to recognize the good deals, either in neo shops or in user shops.

I am not sure why you say that there isnt a market for dubloons, because, yesterday I sold two 1-dubloon coins for 2975 NP each, though I profited only because I got both free from Coltzan (I mean got 2 two dubloon coins - and downgraded it at Golden Dubloon).
It is very difficult to buy dubloons from shop and sell them with profit, you need a really fast connection for wiz-sniping.

there is a big market for dubloons, the only thing is that you have to make sure you are near the lowest seller on your search, and if there is someone with a larger shop selling at the same price as you, or selling 100 dubloons for 1 np less than you, you will get no business

Alright, cheers for the advice.
So-- Try to avoid buying Dubloons from player shops, and try to sell at the min on the Shop Wizard.

What are fair prices to buy/sell Dubloons, Codestones, and Faeries at? There used to be a website with all this information, but I can't seem to find it anymore.

I don't know about Codestones about Doubloons. Of course, obviously, they'd be rather expensive, since they're in high demand.
But as for Faeries, call it my own personal opinion and ignorance, but I always thought it's absurd for people to charge a Bottled Faerie for as much as 10K or something. Those could be newbies who thought that since Faeries are so expensive, it has to been in that region (without checking the Shop Wiz) though.
As for me, I always thought 3K-4K was high enough. I mean, you can easily raise your pet stats anywhere in alternate forms..

Bottled Faeries, Codestones, and Dubloons sell very quickly. There seems to be a high volume of traffic in them. If you price them 5 nps below the wiz avg, it'll get snatched up right away. If you price them higher, they will sit in your shop for a long time.

But if I buy the cheapest on the wizard, and sell them 5NP lower than the cheapest, I will lose out on profit.

you try to wiz snipe. Sometimes people price items a lot lower than the going selling rate (like say selling a bottled faerie for 500np when it costs 3000)
Also, prices of these items fluctuate, so you will have to take the average of the shop wiz searches. Mainly, just try to buy low and sell high. Just make sure you are the lowest on your search (this doesnt mean that you will be the lowest out there, so you will still make profit), and as long as it is a high volume item, you will get buyers.

So I have to have patience and wait for a underpriced item, say: A codestone for 2000, which I can flog for 3000.
Would just pressing refresh on the result page work? Or would I have to start multiple searches?
