No, I always delete all stars before I start another constellation. Do I use an existing star or do I draw one in......... that's the question.
Hmm. I'm not entirely sure what you mean by drawing one in. Perhaps it's some confusion relating to the "Add Star" tool? If so, that just selects an existing star to be a part of your constellation without drawing a line, and that's what you'll need to use to get the bottom star in the second constellation. It doesn't actually add a new star to the sky. If that's not it, can you break down exactly what you
are doing in detail? That should help us figure out what's happening. (=
And pinkflamingonewsgirl, the picture on the star mapper should be one you can drag around. You just move it until it lines up with your stars. Personally, I've been pasting mine into a graphics program after taking a screenshot of the star mapper and doing it there, but you can go either way. Some people also take the star data and put it into excel. Instructions for using the star mapper and excel should be linked from the first post. If those aren't complete enough, please let me know and I'll make sure all the necessary information is added.

can anyone help me find my first constellation. i know theres a guide but i cant find it anywhere
http://i2.tinypic.com/smfvar.jpgfillerbunny, can you send me your star data in a private message? (To do that, you can just click the little button below this post that says "PM" on it.) That would make it easier for me to look for it. It's also still possible that one of your steps didn't "take", so to speak, and the system is not aware that you've unlocked the correct star data. That's happened to several people. While we look, you may want to go back over every step carefully, making sure that the page has fully loaded and that you're always clicking something on the page to go somewhere rather than using back and forward buttons in your browser or a bookmark or anything like that.
