Lunar eclipse = Moon being eclipsed by the Earth

Solar eclipse = Sun being eclipsed by the Moon

... so you were right first time, and yes there was a solar eclipse today. There was a lunar eclipse about a fortnight ago, they're often close together.

Erm, I suppose Turkey is near Italy in the way that India is near Africa, but they're really not that close together. Take it from a real-life European ;)

Signature, eh? We'll see about that...

This is a random comment....but why haven't the last few threads been attached with a split link at the end of them? It's a bit annoying for those of us who are just now trying to catch up.

I saw something posted in one of the last splits, about the number of buildings/boats/etc. outside of the main city in Altador equaling the number 12. Do we think that each building/boat will be designated for one statue? Any thoughts?

Alternatively, there are 11 lands OTHER than Altador...as we found the tomb in Altador, is it possible that there will be one clue per land? Have TNT ever used other lands in a plot for one of them?

Although that may be it seems likely that some of the inside buildings may be used instead like the collesium considering the gladiator. I could only find 11 outside myself unless you count the boat right out side the town to the upper left. Unless of course the locations are not at all related to the hero. But the first one was.

Also consider that the farmer would be a farm which I don't really see. But also consider the quarry was an area rather than something you can see. The 'farm' might be out in the open land.

Which hero might the potion house be?

was it concluded that soymimi's list of petpages with Altador poems were not part of the plot?

Well, if we assume that all items are related to heroes, than we can guess Marak will either be a wave, or part of the sea.
If we don't include the boat that highlighted in blue in this picture, we can assume another one is moved. I would hazard a guess that the Hall of Heroes itself would awaken the King...or that the wave would awaken through an ocean link.

I agree with this... Alhough I don't think the boats mean anything. I know, there are 12 heroes, but I think it's either coincidence or just something TNT added to make us suspicous. But for the locations, I think they'll all be found in Altador itself. Keep in mind that this is not a large plot, so hiding clues all over neopia might just be a bit too far fetched for a plot as simple as this one.

The collector seems like he would be found in an official city building also. A city hall or such.

Also noticed that the town in the upper left also has a collesium.

Perhaps although there is a building with a similar format to the archives next to the collesium. The similarity in format could denote official buildings.

I think you're on to something, here... I think that each of the buildings/boats will become clickable in the future and each will have a clue to which constellation is coming up next. :D But I think it will be more or less random which building corresponds to each hero--the dark faerie doesn't have very much to do with the tomb, other than they are both a little grim. o_O

But think about it...I think it does. Here is my thinking:
1) The tomb is called a Restive tomb. We have discovered that restive does not mean 'laid to rest', but means restraining.
2) The baracade is on the outside of the doors, not the inside.
3) The definition of tomb is A grave, burial vault or a monument. Monument? And when they say dead, they could mean that the betrayer, the dark faerie, is dead to them.

They could use the restraining building as a monument to the darkness held inside, and a reminder that the faerie must remain dead to them.
I think it makes sense that she's the tomb.
