well the did make a side account for the ldp they did it to get information out about some fake scrolls only the side accounts had them and they didnt sell them eather if you look at where they solve the plot it will tell you that they did that and here is a quote

TNT wrote:
Early on in the plot, three of the scrolls were "released" to fake accounts that we created. We posted on the Neoboards, putting the scrolls in galleries or trades so that players could see them. (No one guessed they were fake accounts. Apparently we're brilliant actors!)

also a link to help find it

http://www.neopets.com/desert/ldp/solution.phtml

EDIT: But i do think we should drop it but not forget it so i thank you for keeping up with these fake/real accounts it may be needed later or may not but it is better to be safe just in case

Yes, I know all that. I came third in that plot. And like I said, those accounts were not "Newbie" accounts -- they looked like real, established accounts.

Look, I'll send the usernames to snarkie, and if they're fake, she will probably have something done about them. TNT doesn't like users trying to scam others with plot-related userlookups. And now I'm going to respect Scott's wishes and drop this.

Well, I certainly hope they do something like that to differentiate official Neopets materials from user-created stuff. If they don't already differentiate the URL's (in other words, host official materials on a different location, like http://official.neopets.com, instead of the general user area http://petpages.neopets.com), I would really recommend that they do so, because the lack of differentiation can easily lead to abuse and scamming. Ever since my daughter's friend from school had her account hijacked and stolen from, probably due to the many security holes in the user-created pages, we have been very diligent about what pages we will visit.

I think that may be why they haven't used them like that for a long time. Back then it was very different, nowadays it's Scamsville so no, I don't think they would do that again. Things have moved on in Neopia, and chance we can?

Has anyone found any new by visiting the Astronomy club page again. Unfortunately I haven’t just checking if it’s all the same for everyone.
Quick note: it looks like the wocky is working on some constellations but if you look closely, and its probably all a fluke and means absolutely nothing, but you can see 3 dots in parallel order, like half of the sleeper constellation.

You have the wrong map.
Make sure you complete ALL steps as shown on the 1st page of this topic.
When done correctly you will receive your correct star map.
(Right now yours contains waaaay too many colored stars, and as experience has shown that means you still don't have the right map.)

i have done that many times thinking the same thing. I goto the get_data=1 link, copy and past it into the star mapper - and thats is what comes out.

Edit :) never mind - i revisted the the archives and the astronomy club, after doing that, my star data changed and i found it

I'm 90% positive you still have the wrong map.
You have way too many colored stars and when I look for the sleeper I can't find it either (usually find it within a minute)

So I really think you forgot a step in the process or didn't refresh etc.

Just my general musing, sorry if I'm taking up unnecessary space *throws cookies as an offering*

As we go along it should be easier to spot the constellations, as there'll be less stars to start with and they'll need to be spaced out enough from one another so the images all fit on the map - unless of course TNT allows stars/images from one constellation to overlap...fwip

*coughs* sorry again, I just felt like openly thinking...*shifty eyes*

I think its these stars, but correct me if i'm wrong, they're the stars right next to the coordinates being shown (-58, -85) if only I knew how to post pictures :(
Can I email you the pic instead?

I really should train myself to not get my hopes up with Neopets because I'll just end up falling harder on the ground... face first!

Go to the hall of heroes.
Click on, say, King Altador's statue. You'll get a closeup image of King Altador.

The VERY top row of pixels is where you click to see the gems above the statue. So, put your mouse above the close-up image of the statue, then bring your pointer down slowly into the image until it becomes the little pointing finger, indicating that it's over a link.

Click there.

It is possible that each constellation we activate will clear the stars to a new field. In fact it would make the last ones way to easy if it did not.

You can also click in the white space above the image of the statue, press the tab key once, and then press the enter key. This should also go to the gems.

"The janitor shouts at you, "HEY! Stop leaving the lights on in the observatory! It's wasteful! I CAN'T STAND WASTEFULNESS!! RAAARGHH!!""

I know there have been posts referring to this, and the theories I read, said it was probably about the gems above the sleeper that have changed to white, but... the gems are in the Hall of Heroes, not in the observatory. I doubt it means anything, but you never know.
