mimi the DF shopkeeper could be gotten at evilpet12's petpage at the very bottom I think the person just wants to mess with us also if the DF was gunna rise from the ruins then that would imply a war which we won't be having so yeah...

EDIT: or atleast she had them back at the very begining but they appear to have... disappeared.

Do you honestly believe that the Neopets team didn't make these?

They made pets and petpages for the other plots, so why not now?

Edit: To further support my belief that these are a part of the plot, this is all extremely intricate and tie in completely for the story of Altador. The mini-plot is not just all about the constellations, there is a back story that we need to learn about Altador. I wouldn't be surprised if this is how Neopets expects us to progress.

It's possible but for a mini plot? (even if it isn't turning out to be very mini except in the challenge) but people have made pages preteding to be TNT for other plots so why not now? also It just doesn't seem like TNT to put it out there in what appears to be parts of an epic... and there was never any mention of marak betraying it was always the betrayer not the betrayers...

well, in the poem from the FirstToRise page, there is a mistake...instead of "Fe found..." it should be "He found"

also i was reading a petpage who had this to say about theWave poem...

Only certain words are capitalized, to make a new "poem"...which would be...

"I Search And Call The Shadows. Soon An Orb, A Faerie, A Statue, And All Of The Power"

I don't think much of it though!

But it makes sense.

First of all, it's entirely plausible that there could have been someone who aided the Darkest Faerie in her betrayal. In this case, it seems to be Marak the Wave.

Secondly, on Marak's page, the "Mysterious Statue" is an embedded image. When you take the line that results from the original poem, it mentions that. An orb, a faerie, a statue, and all of the power. The orb? The orb around the statue's neck. The faerie? The darkest faerie. The statue? The one at the bottom of the Maraquan ruins. The power? The divine supremecy over Altador.

Thirdly, I highly doubt that any user who just wants to 'have some fun' would really set up such an intricate set of clues with multiple accounts, well written poetry, hidden messages in the source, and shops with information in them. This has got to be something to do with the plot. Remember, we're trying to find the history of Altador. That is the purpose of this plot. It's not, "Hey, we're just going to let you guys search for stars. :-)" The constellations is just a portion of the Altador plot to help aid us in filling up the Book of Ages and finding the history of Altador.

Sorry, but I'm going to stick with this until someone can honestly prove to me that this has nothing to do with Altador. If someone can prove that, I'll apologize for pushing it so much. But until then, I really think we shouldn't throw any of this out the window.

the only time he capitalises his I's is at the very begining of the poem the other I's are lower case.
All of the A's even if not at the begining of a sentence are capitalised.
Also random words in the middle of a sentence are capitalised.

EDIT: acctually mimi I think your on to something the poem ust happens to have random capitalised letters? no I am gunna try and take the words or letters and see what ig et of them.

...

What is your point? Are you trying to say that someone just has really bad capitalization skills? No. That is why the poem is so extremely interesting, because the capitalised letters, when strung together in order, form a new sentence that says: "I Search And Call The Shadows. Soon An Orb, A Faerie, A Statue, And All Of The Power."

That was just pointed out a moment ago.

I swear there is more to this than you guys are allowing. :-(

That is not even close to being "well-written poetry." I think Snarkie would be insulted if she knew people thought she wrote that. ;) Seriously, "my typing is sore"? That doesn't even make sense. All this prankster did is take info we already know (there's a betrayer, there is an orb, the DF is a statue in the sea) and dressed it up a little. This is a mini-plot and so far has been very, very simple -- it's all been clicking links in pictures and finding an easy-to-spot constellation in a telescope. And finally, these are Newbie accounts. Whenever TNT DOES make fake accounts for use in a plot, they make them older (so it's obvious they're not a total prank) and they dress them up a little. I think they've even stated this publicly before.

When I said well-written, I didn't mean it was amazing like T. S. Eliot or e.e. cummings or even William Shakespeare. I meant, in the sense of the plot, it has a form and rhythm with rhyme and follows a certain plan.

But fine. I will go about this myself. You all can continue with your constellation obsessions. :-(

I never thought a mini-plot would have so many theories and in-depth followers! Me...give me a constellation to find every few days, and a decent prize in the end...that's all i need!

Well, I certainly hope they do something like that to differentiate official Neopets materials from user-created stuff. If they don't already differentiate the URL's (in other words, host official materials on a different location, like http://official.neopets.com, instead of the general user area http://petpages.neopets.com), I would really recommend that they do so, because the lack of differentiation can easily lead to abuse and scamming. Ever since my daughter's friend from school had her account hijacked and stolen from, probably due to the many security holes in the user-created pages, we have been very diligent about what pages we will visit.

They do not differentiate in that manner. For example, in the Mystery Island Plot back three years ago, there was a regular account of cocoluvr_y5 and their shop/pet had something to do with the plot. (I forget what purpose they served). Either way, they don't differentiate because that would make it far to easy to stumble upon clues and hints.

I just keep thinking that these pages serve a purpose, because they did say, "You'll just have to keep your eyes peeled for anything out of the ordinary!" And I keep thinking these poems and accounts are somewhat out of the ordinary, which is why I want to pay some attention to them. But enough about that, I'll drop it here.

See, I don't like that. Somebody could make an account calling themselves The Altadorian Tomb Keeper and leave some thinly-veiled message that everyone should donate 1,000np or some item to him to move on in the plot, and many people will do it before he is stopped.

(That's just an example. I'm sure people can think of much more elaborate ways to abuse such a system.)

A regular account yes, however the age for that account was SIGNIFICANTLY old and certainly gave a confident idea that it was a TNT created account. This on the other hand, seems a bit iffy... I dunno. I'm on the side such that I feel they are fake.

In any case, unless something important comes from this in the near future, I agree its a good idea to just let it drop.

well the did make a side account for the ldp they did it to get information out about some fake scrolls only the side accounts had them and they didnt sell them eather if you look at where they solve the plot it will tell you that they did that and here is a quote

TNT wrote:
Early on in the plot, three of the scrolls were "released" to fake accounts that we created. We posted on the Neoboards, putting the scrolls in galleries or trades so that players could see them. (No one guessed they were fake accounts. Apparently we're brilliant actors!)

also a link to help find it

http://www.neopets.com/desert/ldp/solution.phtml

EDIT: But i do think we should drop it but not forget it so i thank you for keeping up with these fake/real accounts it may be needed later or may not but it is better to be safe just in case

I completely agree that it would be a good idea for TNT to make it so we knew for sure that someone was either fake or not fake, as opposed to the guessing games we face during these storylines. If a situation were to arise that would possibly impact regular users in a bad way, then have a way to officiate something would dramatically improve situations like those.
