Thanks for the help! So all that the stars did was find the Darkest Faerie's eye. And says you found a new constellation? Thats all we should be up to date about right?

I really like this plot but I'm so impatient.
The first post in the forum is kept pretty much up to date. So yes that seems to be all there is until the next NP update. Not that there is not a lot of speculation going on. If you want lots of theory, read the previous splits. Good stuff.
Candycaneofdoom wrote:So, really, how did you guys find the star data page in the first place? I only know about it from the link on darkfire's wicked cool star mapper program.
I think it was from decompiling the flash but I actually do not recall if someone said where that particular link came from.

Oh. Okay. Thanks... *wishes she knew what "decompiling the flash" meant*

Actually someone found it in the browser cache. Pretty much people who are very good at figuring out computer stuff wandered around stripping down everything they could layer by layer and poking in every nook and cranny. Until they found something useful, the star data info.

I'm ignoring it and just doing the old fashioned look through my telescope until I found the constellation, but that's me, I'm old school. People can do whatever way they find easiest to get through this.

Did you also go back to the archives? There's a new chapter on the DF there now. Otherwise, I think you're caught up.
My roomie, who has never tried any of the plots before decided she wanted to try this one. I just told her to go to Shabina's petpage and read everything. Guess what, she finished it all in under 10 minutes! No mapping, she just found her DF constellation immediately. I didn't know whether to congratulate her or kick her

And gwennypoo, if you're impatient, I'll tell you flat out, a Neopets plot is most likely not for you. There will be lots of downtime where rumors and theories will fly with occasional times of high activity, like finding a constellation. In fact everyone can kind of take that as a general tip. Plots can drive you insane, and yes, you might miss the start of something, but don't be afraid to have a life and do things in the real world. Ever since the quickness of the mystery island conclusion, TNT seems to be doing a very good job at making sure those who want to participate, can. Just relax and try to have fun.

I noticed when switching accounts I had a difficult time trying to find the DF on the telescoped map. I could not find it on the "Ye Olde Star Map" either....
So... I went back and talked to the Janitor again... visited the tomb again... and talked to the archivist... again....
Then I returned to the telescope.... my map and code changed!
Make sure you do all of these... if not... try going back and doing it again... visit the tomb and talk to everyone!
Hope this helps those who are having trouble.

It's important to make sure you do all the steps, even if they seem little.
I hope you're not doing the plot on more than one of your own accounts. It would be sad to be frozen over something as simple as the Altador plot.

There is also the horrible gut-wrenching possibility that the plot will be given a slap-dash ending, cancelled (Dr Sloth), or simply abandoned with no further developments (Theives Dinner).
So don't abandon your life and get TOO wrapped up in the plot. They're fun, but unpredictable sometimes.

That's really wierd. Before, I spent an hour looking for the stars, however, I went back to star data and got it again, and I got a completely different star map. I found the constellation in minutes. o_o;

I think tomarrow is a pretty realistic view they didn't make it extremely hard to find the constellation and we can assume almost everyone who is doing the plot has found their constellation.

I think a LOT of people are hoping a new piece of the plot is released tomorrow. The Neopet chat boards are just fulled of New Member trying to find their constellations!!

I have made a ridiculous amount of progress in the field of clues and theory!
Sorry to steal the thunder from all this constellation searching... but...
Everyone, please visit my petpage,
http://petpages.neopets.com/~Monaveu !
There, I have screencapped the poems found on these mysterious petpages that keep popping up, along with the shops.
But I also found more, particularly at /~Marak_TheWave's petpage...
Go to Monaveu's spot and you'll see what I mean when I say I found more there. This will get those wheels in our heads turning!
Hopefully I'm making a good contribution to this plot...
*In a rush of excitement...!!!*

mimi the DF shopkeeper could be gotten at evilpet12's petpage at the very bottom I think the person just wants to mess with us also if the DF was gunna rise from the ruins then that would imply a war which we won't be having so yeah...
EDIT: or atleast he had them back at the very begining but they appear to have... disappeared.
