This may be like the ldp tablet pieces, where they make it available to get the next one, oh every 2-3 hours or so, I think it was anyway. Or it may not, and we get to wait until another update. We shall see...

Anyone else have "#" signs in their new star data? I don't remember having that in my old map info.
I think that means they're connected. RIght co-ords for me any way.
But thats odd:
144,97#144,97
so I've supposedly got a star that's connected to itself. Hmmm

Everyone is trying to find the same constilation, right? So first use that program to get your star map. Copy it to paint, and right click on black. Then copy the img that someone posted a little ways back of their marked constilation. Paste it onto the paint window. Set the background as transparent. This allows you to move the v shape about your star map until it fits snugly into place over a set of six stars =)

First post updated with the new information.
PM if things should be added/subtracted with what is up.
I don't want to see any complaints about such a "small" update at all.
I want to stress that the constellations ARE oriented as seen on the tomb doors and that they can be made up of different colored stars or they could be the same colored stars. Use the helpful guide given in the first post AFTER you have talked to the Lenny (after clicking the door!)
FOLLOW THE STEPS.
Then if still confused then post.

After doing several of these, I'm noticing a mathematecal pattern
The highest dots are exactly 200 points apart, and are exactly aligned horozontally.
The middle dots are exactly 120 points apart, and are exactly aligned horozontally.
The lowest dots are exactly 40 points apart, and are exactly aligned horozontally.
For example:
12, 320
52, 290
92, 260
132, 260
172, 290
212, 320
That might help you guys get your stars better.

Yeah 3 appeared only after the constellation was made not before that.
I think the tamburine / pentagram with 6 points is related to
http://www.neopets.com/altador since that wall very like that symbol. The one on bottom left is covered by a house, not clickable right now though.

dawnmomoffour wrote:If you think you have it but it keeps saying no that is not a constellation, do NOT add star. Connect the first three in a line, connect the second three in a line..do NOT connect the two lines together. That doesn't work.
Yeah, you have to connect them how you see them on the tomb door. I was having major problems because i just connected them willy nilly.
On another note, don't you think it funny the astronomy club is impressed you "discovered" a constellation?

Have you found your constellation yet? If not, you probably have six points with that symbol with them. Try using those as your constellation stars. I just checked mine and all of them with that symbol were part of my constellation.

Yeah. If you translate it into an spreadsheet document, it becomes really easy. It will be alot more fun for those star maps that are not as mathematically simple
Tue Mar 28, 2006 3:54 am
Sylence, did you visit the Lenny first, then get that star data?
Tue Mar 28, 2006 3:54 am
Mine was hard to spot. I highly recommend cut n' pasting over your own if you cannot find yours.
