ok looking through the telescope there is a lot of blue fuzzy bits in the sky which dont show up on the star map since they are not clickable stars and thus have no coordinates.
im wondering if this is a sort of shading that helps fill in the constelations/pictures/whatever when we find them, some of the patches of it seem to make vague shapes...but nothing i can secifically identify as yet.
possible?

*Plops down in his lazy boy recliner, takes out his newspaper and licks a finger, turns a page and reads looking up at whats goin on.* I still say its a big HUGE april fools joke, or they will release the actual stuff we need to do this on april fools and until then like ive said, we all should just give it a break.
I mean seriously, there are litteraly thousands if not more looking at this and no one has gotten anything and its been how long?? I would think even if it was the hardest most impossable insanely difficult, thing ever that some one some where would of found something. I mean look at the folks here alone and how clever and brilliant yall are.
Not ta brag for yall but ya are, and you havnt found nothing, now you gotta think not to put anyone down, but think there are smarter folks that dont come here that are looking at all this too and havnt found nothing (or being mean and not saying anything) thus I must conclude if all the folks in the world have not found anything then there is nothing to be found.*Flips page in paper goes back to reading.*

They are more than likely just space fillers - TNT does enjoy putting small easter eggs in things like that so don't be surprised if you see pictures of random things.
Also, does anyone mind if I gloat? Good. I just had to laugh when I read the recent '74' theory followed by all the hours people have been searching for their second set. I am a firm believer in the idea that TNT haven't released the next step and haven't tried once to find another map. Can anyone else just wait with me rather than staying up to mad hours trying to discover the meaning behind something with none?

After the sad faked screenie incadent I concluded right then and there that it was hopeless at the moment, right now im enjoying my early early morning paper (Thanks paper dude! YOU ROCK! Whereva you may be.) and drinkin my coffee and readin this as I await the land evaluater to show up at the early hour of 7AM, which if I went to bed I wouldnt wake up in time for so here I am at the ungodly hour of almost 6AM...*Shivers at the thought and goes back to reading.*

In case anyone's wondering, all (working) servers under 100 give the wrong map, and all (working) servers 100 or above give the right map (at least, I'm assuming those are "right" and "wrong"). So if 74 doesn't work for you, try 70, 72, 73, 75, 76, 77, 94, 95, 96, or 97.
I'd recommend saving it, just in case. It probably won't mean anything, but you never know.

Yup. Which brings me to another logical reason not to keep goin head long on this plot at the moment.
It has been noted MANY times that Talador and Altador are related. It is believed Altador is on the continent of Talador. This being the case they may release other area's on Talador when there ready and then perhaps is when we can really proceed on the plot. *Nods.*

I noticed that in each statue's constellation that there were some gems with X-s through them and some not. So I tried using just the X'd and then just the no'X'd. I spent quite a while trying to find matches in the sky but no luck, and for some of the statues there are more non-X'd than the mapper permits, so I guess that was no help.

The idea of this plot being an April Fool's joke is quite ridiculous. The AP Board pop this up every couple of hours. April Fools Day is 1 day - it might take TNT months to plan out, but it is only for 1 days worth of fun.
The only logical reason why no-one has found a constellation, is because TNT don't want us to yet. In the next update, I bet we will be directed to or have access to information to help us find the constellation.
Look how the speculation got out of hand about the Astronomy Club. All those wild, involved theories where shattered when TNT added the flyer.
Real simple stuff. No science, mathmatical or Harvard University degree needed.
As TNT said - this is a minor plot.
I greatly admire all the hard work and effort put in by many of you here on the board, but at this point all I can say is chill out.
P.S This is said in the spirit of friendship, I am not putting anyone down.

Sorry yer wrong, Altador is a CITY on the continent of TALADOR. Read that quote again, continent, altador is a city! You can see other citys in the main view of altador in the distance which confirms what I just stated.

I think neopets "accidently" allowed us to start the plot in the first place and now are playing catch up with US! They knew we found the astrology club and so shut it down while they got the code for the stars done, they rushed that so its glitched as its been noted, so they then released the club, and are probly right now fixing the glitches in the stars, and probly also rushing to get another part of hte plot released while wree here trying to solve this with incomplete data in the first place. That is my firm logical conclusion.

Unfortunately I have to disagree. The reason Talador and Altador are related is because they are the same place. The name changed some time ago, some believe it to be significant - others put it down to already being a name of an area in another game which could have put TNT in a very sticky situation.
I do however think that the other side may be rather sparse on it's reveal - and the angles and games that could come from exploring it could be magnificent.

Confusing. But if thats the case then they must of decided to use Talador to name the continent since it says so in the times. *Rubs head.* At any rate TNT frustrate me to no end.lol As long as ive been on they have not ceased to irritate me in some way.lol
Like a small lil frustration to me was when while ago they removed the crack in the ice caves that led to tyrania, I use to start my dailys with the igloo garage sale, then down to scratch cards, through the crevace to tyrania for my omlette. Now it takes me tad longer..Bah humbug.LOL
