Altador Plot Thread (Split #10)

It had evil somewhere in the name. I didn't save the page, but I did copy and paste some of the graphics to compare with what I had already come up with. He/She used the TCG cards with an overlay of the gems in the ceiling. While most of what he came up with I agree with, some, I think, are not quite right. But, at least it is a great starting point. Here's an example from their page...sorry I don't have the link, but you could look in split #9 to find it.

I totally feel like playing some games and forgetting about this plot until someone PROVES that they found one.

I am getting a sneaky feeling that TNT purposefully made us wait a week sp that this sky would keep us busy for a couple more and we'd have to quit complaining about not having anything to do

I honestly think we have to wait for something , like the guy in the club saus find so and so's constellation , and we will then find it .

so here is something i don't understand. For the submit button to come up we have to connect 6 stars, no more, no less. But some of the constellations have less than 6 stars or more than 6. Others have exactly 6.

Also, my map is now back to where it was when I looked at it this morning, has anyone else had this happen? Maybe there are so many maps that we each have that cycle around?

It would be wonderful if the Janitor or someone would throw us a bone and say "look to the yellow stars" or "the gems in the ceiling in correlation with the time of day might mean something." But I do not see it happening today or tomorrow Here's to hoping for that breakthrough though

You can only "select" six stars....once they have been selected you can connect them to each other more than six times...but only between though six stars.

The second post was in relpy to something different I didn't realize posting twice in a row made it automatically double, just relpied to a post after I had written about a seperate one.

I think we should begin with Jerdana's constelation, since it has 6 stars. After we find it, we probably should look for Siyana, who has something like.... 9 or 10 or whatever stars in her constelation Probably then we should have the "submit" button after we find those 9 or 10 stars. And so on. But I still haven't even find Jerdana's.... And I see that some people here are trying the same, this plot is driving me nuts!

Okay. This is darn annoying. I asked my friends if they saw the gem-form in the map and they instantly noticed that many stars are not on the flash! (but still they are in coordinates AND on my tele.) O_____O

for example -1,400 is missing and so are -2,296 -220,222

Okay, this is not such a far-out theory, so I am reiterating it again:

I believe we all have two star maps (sky views), one for the "day" sky and one for the "night" sky. My two star_data files changed back and forth after Noon and Midnight.

This would explain why there is a coordinate in one map that won't be in the other map. This would explain why when people use darkfire's tool that map looks different from what the person might remember earlier.

I would advise you all to check on your star_data files before and after Noon (and/or Midnight) NST and your local time to see if we all have this.

I honestly don't know about this phase at all. I've spent hours staring at my map trying to find Torakor's constellation (which also has 6 stars) and then more hours trying to find Marak's but nothing works. I'm getting more and more convinced we've either missed something or it isn't there yet. By the laws of probability with all these people trying somebody should have found something by now (and be able to prove it!). So what have we missed? What are we doing wrong? Why are some people saying their maps change when my definately hasn't? Are we selecting the wrong gems to make into constellations?
