going off topic... I had my first plot dream last night! It was wierd, it had me thinking the sleeper's (the darkest faerie) constellation was of persephone (not sure if that's spelled right). I highly doubt it though... ok, i'm done.

I still personally believe that Altador is derived from some form of "altitude", being as the only way to access it currently is in Faerieland in a tower--making it's entrance portal at an extremely high altitude.

I don't know if I'm the only one thinking this, but I think looking for an anagram of any meaning in Altador is like looking for an anagram of meaning in Jellyworld. IE: insignificant.

I'd like to point out something I've just noticed.....

The telescope stand? I think it might not be a stand, but the telescope itself. Why do I say that? History time:

A Greek Telescope isn't a cone shaped tube with a lens at the end. A Greek Telescope is a half circle cylinder (like the on in the dome-shaped room) in which one places lenses of various sizes.

Let's try a few items with the word 'lens' in it.

Edit: By 'Greek' Telescope, I mean one that was used in greco-roman times (like the ones used by, forgive me if I get this wrong, Galileo).

Edit #2: Galileo.....what's wrong with me......

I happen to agree with you, actually... but I thought I'd put it out there for those curious.

You know, despite how hard the last plot was, TNT did gives us EVERYTHING for it. They even painted the chef's toes (I'm one of the many who did NOT get that clue but tried to blindly find it out... all my college courses got in the way of me finishing the plot, I regret to say). My point is, has there been any indication that we should be looking at anagrams and things of that nature?

Notice that the Lenny in the archive room has a monocle - which is in essence, a lens. Maybe we need to convince him to give it to us and fit it into the telescope!

"Amazing! The ceiling of the Hall of Heroes opened? What a marvel! Perhaps there are some clues about the Book of Ages to be found there."
Quote from the archivist. I just realized...what does there refer to.
Does there refer to the HoH, or the celing? And was it the astronomy tower celing that opened, or the celing above the heros?
Will the clue be on the celing? or in the stars, through the celing.

EDIT: To the author of the next message...I doubt they'd use an LDP crystal. What about the poor people that didn't do that plot? they'd be not allowed to do this plot, which we've already decided isn't going to happen. TNT wouldn't exclude people.

Interesting idea. Maybe one of the strange crystal items from the LDP will work?

Don't know, but how much do you want to bet the constellation in the dome room will change at the beginning of April?

If(this is a big if) I were the betting type I would put my money on it changing to the farmer.

It hasn't so far, but it might.

And... I'd think that the ancient Greeks would use enclosed tubes for their telescopes. And there does not seem to be any slot or indentation to suggest a spot where a lens may be placed.

Oh, and don't forget there's a lens in the magnifier above the book. :p That makes 2 so far.
