Yay I helped :D Also is the wooden telescope still valid? I thought I saw someone say it was from the last plot (at code redeem center).
TCG cards are available on-line for everyone. There is NO NEED to buy them. Poke around The Neopian Bazaar. As for a guide, check my last post!
I meant the prize redemption part of it. I saw the TCG cards, but I still don't think they will incorporate that.

My favorite quote that appliest to me is:

"Discover wildlife Raise Twins"

I don't remeber who wrote it.

Sorry, dor doesn't mean gold. Aureus means gold in Latin and to be precise, alta means high, or deep.

EDIT: Oops, didn't see that someone had already corrected that!

I didn't say Dor meant gold. I came across a reference on the net after doing a search that Dore meant "Golden". There's a difference. And I stand corrected that Golden probably isn't dore.

The place was originally called Talador. And that's what was printed on the TCG cards. Altador is an anagram of Talador. Why would TNT go to the trouble of changing the name from something that was already in print if it wasn't significant?

It's just speculation, what's wrong with that?

Funny, I thought the same thing when people first started "arguing" about the names Talador and Altador. If Talador is indeed printed on the cards, then perhaps our "job" in this "plot" is to reverse some curse so Altador then becomes Talador once again? Or maybe they are mirror worlds?

So far I really like the backdrop of Astronomy, an Observatory and Constellations. I sure hope TNT does all they can to keep our interest. ;)

Well... of gold in French is d'or, in Spanish it is de oro and in Portugese it is dourado. And in greek it is krusos, how random - wonder if there are any derivatives of that.

And just wondering... where exactly was Talador used instead of Altador? In which publicly available products. I know they had a Tainted Altador card.

Wasn't it "Siyana of Talador"?

We're not quite certain upon the facts, but some have stated that it bears a striking resemblance to the current cartographic representations of Altador that we have.

To me, it looks like a giant fish head using a pair of tiny arms to draw back the strings of a bow.

Yeah, I think someone said it was a map of the city or something (another said it looked like an alligator... how random).

edit: A fish? Yeah... I could see that... o_O

I have to say it looks like a bunch of lines to me. I bet that's the point though. I doubt we're supposed to know what it is until we're allowed to see the whole picture.

I could be wrong, but I think that this is the reason why Neopets changed the name...

http://www.play.net/gs4/info/tomes/huma ... alador.asp

I don't think that it had any more signifigance than potential trademark issues.

There is a TCG card called Siyana of Talador.

This is not significant yet (or maybe at all) but I noticed upon first looking at the Archivist's room that the note on the bookcase (next to the table the Book we can read is on) is upside-down, in the sense it is defying "gravity" by being taped on the bottom (look at the direction of the "curl" in the paper). One of the books with the "sun" symbol on it is also upside down on the bottom of the shelf (maybe just a clumsy Lenny Librarian, no offense to Lennies or lovers-of). ;) And finally, someone noticed that Siyana (the First to Rise) is missing a Sock and there just so happens to be one on the floor of the Archives. :P

Yes, I am thinking that Evil Pink Meepit and that Elusive Long Lost Sock are the Key to Life, the Universe, Altador, Talador, and Everything. Wait, where am I going with this? I forgot, but I do know how disappointing it is to lose a Sock, especially for over 100 years.

Looks to me as if there's a note(in pink) taped to the bottom of the paper. As to how the paper itself is held up, that's a very good question....

That small "icon" as you call it is said to look like Myster Island. That's what people were saying yesterday on the boards.
