There's no metal though. It goes:
Water: Scorpio, Cancer, Pisces
Air: Gemini, Libra, Aquarius
Fire: Sagittarius, Leo, Aries
Earth: Virgo, Capricorn, Taurus
I believe that Aquarius would fit better under water - since they are the water beares

I know, but I got this from websites about zodiac signs. Also, I noticed that Siyana looks like Libra a bit, with the balancing.

You're not missing anything. I doubt we'll see anything new until TNT get back to offices on Monday morning (which is soon-ish right?! I have no idea... it's already lunchtime Monday where I live). Or knowing TNT, maybe not even till Tuesday. They like keeping us in suspense.
Edit:
If going off the NST clock is any indication, we've still got an entire night to get through before the guys are back in the office.
Sigh. I'm so gonna go insane at work waiting for this plot to move along.

Right, so far the 3+ threads since that was discovered has been pure specualtion....
and having read this, I think it's my turn to make random, probably completly wrong speculation. I wonder if anyone else has noticed that random Island on the Altador map? There is that island and what seems to be a large unfortified cityat the top left corner of the map. Is it possible these might end up like Brightvale (accessible from the Altador map) and have something to do with it?
I know it may be a strech, but having nothing to go on, I think we should store little details like this in out memory banks for later.

I've been following these threads for a while now, and I'm surprised that no one has mentioned the first thing I noticed when I found the gallery of heroes...
I like the idea of the possible correlation between the 12 statues and the 12 neopian months (or the neopian zodiac), but has anyone else noticed that the strange arrangement of the statues mimics a clock?
If you look at the URLs of each statue, you'll find that each hero is assigned a number. Jerdana is number 1, but the topmost statue in the circle is King Altador (who is number 12). I dunno, maybe it's nothing--I haven't been able to come up with any theories relating to time--but I still think it's interesting.

The clock idea has already been mentioned several times throughout these threads. No one really thinks anything of it right now.

People actually mentioned the "12 heroes = clock" thing back in the first thread. It's still a neat idea, though, and time could come into play later; who knows?
One thing I think will NOT come into play is our Zodiac and our Greek gods and whatnot. Neopia is not Earth. It does not share our mythology or our night sky. Our constellations and our gods have nothing to do with Neopia's stars and heroes. Like I said waaaay back on page 6 of the first thread, I do think the gems represent constellations, but I highly doubt they have anything to do with Pisces and Aquarius and Libra, etc. And I think once the next part of this mini-plot is updated, the steps we have to take will be crystal clear. This is a "minor" plot and has been incredibly easy and straightforward so far (seriously, every step we've completed, we've done through... clicking on pictures); why are people trying to make it all twisty and complicated?

Hmmm... in "The Darkest Faerie" game, you have to awaken five of the twelve 'protectors'... maybe we have to do that?
What I was thinking is, if that's what we need to do, then maybe the protectors have taken the form of other pets (i.e.: they're not in their protector forms xD) and we have to find them. For example, The Farmer is a yellow Kacheek (on the TCG), so we have to find a yellow Kacheek farmer. And, luckily, there is one. At the Potato Counter in Meridell.
Meh... purely speculation, of course. Just trying to throw some different ideas out there. ^^;

I completely agree with you Cran. TNT said that this was a "minor" plot. I'm think it's all going to be as easy as it has been so far. It is much easier than the LDP thus far, that I know for sure.

I'm just wondering how they plan to fill 50 more pages of Altadorian history.
Mon Mar 20, 2006 2:36 am
Two or three pages for each hero's history would fill up a lot, and the rest would probably summarize the plot of the video game (which I agree has already happened). We've filled three pages so far and we've barely done anything.

Ahh but they probably represent Neopias zodiac signs or something.

Hmmm.
The gems above each statue obviously represent that hero's designated constellation, and we will probably have to find each constellation through the telescope in the dome room. Perhaps a different constellation will be available at different times (reflecting the hour of its hero?) and pages of the Book of Ages will correspond to the constellations.
Or maybe a gigantic rabid sun (with 12, 10, 9, 8, or even 7 points) will swoop down and eat our wives and children while the 12 protectors laugh and read eachother's horoscopes because TNT is sick and twisted. Why else would they schedule a new plot the day before a long weekend?

Yes they probably have to do with the Zodiac Clock.
