Thinking about it, that makes sense. So, going with that, we'd have at least one area to explore. Excluding the thought that those reddish tiles may move at some point in time, revealing some sort of mysterious basement or something.
I hadn't even thought about the tiles maybe moving or disappering.... I've just thought of them as markers of notable/important things.

That may be true as well.
I think I recall reading something about a hidden trapdoor in a shop in the Lost Desert though, that was released during the plot. They may do something like that with those tiles. That's my thought process, at least.

I think you may be right on that. The fact that you face the room from that direction is a serious flaw in the theory that it might be a back hallway, but the fact that it branches off is a flaw in the theory that it's an entryway. So perhaps it's both. And you know, I think i'd rather it be that, if we have to do any mapping. One area to map is way better than two in my opinion.

That does make a lot of sense. I haven't followed any of the other plots, so I'm not as well informed about possible developments...

Does anyone know what the archivist is talking about? He's saying "Amazing! The ceiling of the Hall of Heroes opened? What a marvel! Perhaps there are some clues about the Book of Ages to be found there."
What's the Book of Ages?
Is this guy another fortune teller?

I believe that the Book of Ages is the book that you found under the archivist's table.

Thus far, the only book I know of is probably that one that was under the table leg. Maybe that's the Book of Ages, and TNT just choose not to tell us that. *shrugs* Or maybe it's a totally different book. I'm sticking by the thought that it's the book we found.

I think the Book of Ages is the book you find in his room under the table. The one with only the prologue.
Not another fortune teller I think, but he may give us some clues as to what to do next

Well despite some rumors it does not appear you can get into the astronomy club after 9:30pm

(please forgive me if this has already been disproven)

Hey all, i'm new to PPT Forum. Although i've been on the site many times, especially for the LDP. I decided to join in and maybe try and be some help in the new plot. Apparently, i'm a bit behind on the Altadorian Plot but as I was ketching up, I was reading the posts and I had a thought. Forgive me if this was already mentioned. There are alot of posts and i'm going crazy reading all of it haha. This is regarding the Gems above all the statues in the Hall of Heroes. I was wonderings if they were constellations? Just a thought, they are all different for each statue..? Maybe it has something to do with the missing telescope?

yeah...I'd say it's fairly obvious that the book of ages is the book that we found under the leg and are reading...especially since that is what the archivist refers to it as.

I keep seeing talk of an Astronomy Club, but where? I can see a notive board at the entrance to the archives with various clubs on it but there isn't an astronomy club amongst them. I have herbalism, mining, underwater basket weaving, engineering and alchemy. Are we assuming the room with the telescope stand is an astronomy club?
And to answer a previous comment - the Fortune Teller in the LDP gave clues as to what to do next, just as the archivist appears to be doing.

just wondering, when was the astronomy club actually taken down?

To be technical it was never up perse. It was only "up" by changing the link to a "6" in which you were brought to a page with a broken picture. Likely those who actually got there didn't actually get in. It was probably just a set up. In any case, its inaccessable, as stated in the first post.
And on a side note, I STRONGLY urge everyone to read the notice on the first post. We are serious about closing down this thread if it gets too out of hand.
