Altador Plot Split #2

yeah, I don't think it's the month you joined either. I got Jerdana and I joined up in January...so yeah...if people really did just refresh, then maybe there isn't a connection, but who know for sure, really?

So what part did the Dreamer and the First to Rise play in all this? We know the darkest faerie was banned and turned to stone and put at the bottom of the sea. So what did they do? You'd think the other faeries would be able to fight off one, but I could be wrong...

That would fit the whole, 'TDF was banned' theory, 'cause if they turned her to stone and shoved her off of the cloud or whatever Altador is on, she wouls fall into maraqua. Makes sense! You guys are good!

Aww that's soo mean!! Why would anyone want to shove ANYONE off a cloud?? That's horrible. Even if we're talking about evil faeries here...

I really, really, REALLY believe that the whole assigning-statues-to-certain-neopians is completely random, so can we mull over and theorize some other things instead?

The Neopets team are a bunch of clever souls. The 12 heroes of Altador could all stand for many, many things in ways we don't even know, but I doubt most of these things are very important to the plot right now...

Oh I do wish TNT wouldn't leave us hanging on over a weekend so early in a plot. Besides the fact I go away for 10 days in 2 weeks.

Ouch. Ten days... that's an awful big dent, seeing as we discovered this much in under 24 hours (if you count just last night, it was maybe 4 or 5 hours to figure it all out). Imagine what ten days would come to! :-o

Didn't get this in last night, but I got my bottle of oil behind the King. Someone on the neoboards last night mentions that the Statues corresponded (right word?) with the Neopian months (Sleeping, Hunting, etc).

Wow. You have to admit, but it can hardly be coincidence...several of the titles match the months...though I can't imagine what the calender could do with it. I think it might as well be worth noting, though. Might come in handy.

To go by this makes a lot of sense. Just to add some in:

-Kelland, the Thief could be associated with the month of Running (theives run away after they've stolen something)
-Florin, the Farmer could be associated with the month of Eating (farmers help all of us eat) or with the month of Storing (harvesting food)
-Psellia, the Dreamer could be associated with the month of Relaxing (dreaming...relaxing...I do them both at the same time)
-Jerdana, the Protector could be associated with the month of Hiding (to protect something, some people would hide it)

-I'm not sure what Torakor, the Gladiator would be associated with going by this though. He's the only one I'm stumped on.

I think you're really on to something here. Kelland might be 'hiding', as theifs are known to get covert and sneaky. Florin, in charge of agriculture, would be 'eating'? I also think Torakor would be running due to his general physical fitness.

TO further back up my Kelland theory, the flavor text for his card is "Stealthy, creeping, shadow-like, Kelland waits for his chance to strike'

That would leave Jerdana as storing : / I mean, she did store away the dark faerie... and she theoretically has a large store of knowledge, but that might be a stretch.

I suppose you can be forgiven. ;-)

I am somewhat hoping it goes by slow as well, due to the fact that after spring break, it'll be back to the daily grind for me of school and work and my time will once again become limited. (That is... unless I don't mind never sleeping ever again. But that's a stretch, because I do like my shut-eye.)

Oh, summer, please hurry. I don't know how I can survive with so many silly priorities!

Neopets+School=Very Difficult.

lol...I understand completely. I was only in school for one week when I signed in and that was hard. I'm taking this semester off, which is why I get to play so much...mixed blessing, I suppose.

But, back to Neopets. I wonder with all this talk of stars and constellations if Kredulor or the Space Station will play any role in it...yes...no...who knows...it's just a random thought...I'm probably wrong...I really like to do "..."

I went out and bought the book "constellation spotting" and tried reading it to all my pets, and they all refused! Could this have any importance? And also, not that it helps, but I have a (real) book about star mapping, think this could help?

edit: nevermind, I finally manged to one of my pets to read it.

Hey, going back to soymimi's comment about the statue at the bottom of Maraqua, I remember reading in the book that a female originally thought to be a hero betrayed them. Maybe the statue in Maraqua is the statue of the once hero that betrayed them.
