i dont get whats so annoying about chat speak. i mean as long as you can understand what the people mean then who really cares. its a lifesaver for a slow typer like me

You're most probably right about it being nothing more than a library but it's bugged me ever since the archive opened up. I'm going to end up dreaming about this just like the ldp.

Oh I know I'm backseat modding now but can you please stop complaining about specific people. If you had a problem with someone in real life you'd speak to them privatley right? So a quick pm would be much more polite. Plus complaining is taking up as much space as the double posts.

If we're talking about points, like the points on the sun -- the book, the hall of heroes -- there are also eight points/towers to the wall surrounding Altador. I know that probably doesn't mean much, but it's just an observation.

See now, there's the kicker, a lot of times, you CAN'T understand chatspeakers, or it takes a while to decypher what they type.

Your more likely to become a fast/better typer if you right correctly anyway. And I doubt your teachers will think that the fact that you "type slowly" is a good enough reason to write poorly.

On topic:
I doubt the old name of Altador matters, they just decided to change it methinks.
The sun points: I doubt it means anything at this point in time. If it does mean anything, theres no way for us to work out what it is at the moment.

Anyway, since there's a missing telescope, if you look at the floor there are two dark tiles and one of them is by the thief, something maybe?

And then there's the sun with 8-12 rays, I really think there's a symbolism in the sun since it's in the book and on the floor, maybe not as decoration.

i asked a while back about what the picture was on the darkened square at Hall of Heroes and someone said that it was a probably a map. i don't know if this matters at all but i just noticed there is also a map on the archivist's desk
