I cant login to my neopets account, i requested a pass word and its the same one im putting in. My brother can login on mine on his computer but he lives miles away.

Does anybody know what i can do.

Can't you just rerequest the password? Maybe you're unwittingly putting the wrong password in. If it still doesn't work, try contacting TNT for help.

Also, offering 300k in NP to anyone who offers help, while generous, also looks very suspicious....

What error message is it giving you when you try to log in?

Have you checked to make sure you are using the right capitalization (ie: caps lock isn't on?)

Have you tried clearing the cookies on your computer? If your computer can't log in, but your brother's can, that could be the case. O.o'

Trying clearing your history, cache, and cookies. That usually works. Good luck.

Run a virus & spyware scan, clear out cookies etc. If it still doesn't work, try a defrag of your machine. Failing that, I'm stumped

Also, you should make sure that your system clock is correct.

Also, if you try to log in more than three times (unsucessfully) you will be unable to log in for a day. I did this once trying to log in and accidentally having CAPS turned on.

This protects your account from people trying to guess your password. Everything will be fine and you can log in the next day.

Thanks for all your help, it says bad password but i know its correct because my brother can get in. I have done everything eg cleared cookies, defrag etc

If you dont get it right twice you are blocked for 1 hr



Do you mean the clock down the bottom right hand corner or is there a clock inside the computer or something like that.

Ive got my clook at the correct time i got some software so its always correct.

Maybe have your brother, who can log in, change your password for you (and tell you what it is, of course) and then use the new password?

Also, consider just waiting. I'm at college right now and sometimes the internet connection/firewall goes a bit nuts. For a few weeks you couldn't log into the school's email from the dorms, but you could log in fine if you used a computer in the labs. I don't know what caused it, or what fixed it, but eventually it came back.

OK, you've gotten your password, you know it's correct. Check your computer clock against the Neo clock again. Also check the date on your computer. If one or the other isn't right, I've been told it won't let you log in.

Check your firewall, just to be certain that for some reason Neo isn't being blocked.

Then, I guess, copy the password from the email and try pasting it in the space. Hope something works!

How about make sure your caps lock is off. Occassionally, mine gets turned on when I miss the tab key and it messes things up royally.

yeah neo can sometimes take forever but make sure yer using it the right way not caps when its lower case and stuff
