Silver Job Coupon

Okay so I broke down and bought one but I got it for a great price. Now I go to try to use it and it says I don't have a coupon for a SILVER JOB??? What the heck!!! Can you not buy these in shops and then use them yourself???
What is the problem here, help!!

I think the problem is that you have bought a Silver Job Coupon, while the jobs you're trying to get are Silver Brightvale Jobs. There's a difference between the Silver Job Coupons and the Silver Brightvale Job Coupons. You need the silver brightvale job coupon to get a silver brightvale job.

I thought you could use all coupons at the Employment Agency?

Here is a list of all Job Coupons in order:

Green Job Coupon (lowest!)
Blue Job Coupon
Red Job Coupon
Silver Job Coupon
Gold Job Coupon
Purple Job Coupon
Pink Job Coupon
Green BrightvaleJob Coupon
Bronze BrightvaleJob Coupon
Silver Brightvale Job Coupon
Gold BrightvaleJob Coupon (highest!)

A job coupon can be used for any job that requires a coupon of that colour or lower; for example, you can use a Red coupon for a Green, Blue, or Red job, but not for a Silver or higher job.

The Brightvale job coupons work just like regular ones -- if you use a Green Brightvale Job Coupon, it will be downgraded into a Pink Job Coupon.

Okay so I have a silver job coupon not a brightvale one and when I take it to the employment agency to post for a silver job it says I don't have a coupon and it is in my items not my safety deposit box??

When you use a Silver Job Coupon, it will be downgraded - that is, it will turn into a Red Job Coupon. When you do a Red job, that coupon will be downgraded into a Blue Job Coupon. When you use a Blue Job Coupon, the coupon disappears.

Okay I think I have figured this out, I have been applying for Silver Brightvale Jobs and I would assume they require a Silver Brightvale coupon. So I guess i have to wait for just a Silver Job to come up and use it then? 0:)

Yes, that is right. You need to wait until a Silver job becomes available to use your coupon.

Yeah good luck, the lower jobs seem to never come up. I had a pink job coupon and checked for jobs many many times a day. After 2 weeks I got mad and sold it
