One of the big draws on MMO games is crafting skills, which would be interesting to see on neopets, if they could keep up with it. This would be a nice starting point for something like that. If you could train your pet to a point where they could craft the ocassional R99 shop item it would be a boon to those of us who can't or won't restock due to slow connections and having to compete with cheaters. That would be really cool, in fact.

That would be awesome, Kess -- maybe they could let us sign up for two of the different clubs, and the items we could make would depend on the clubs we'd selected and our skill levels in each (I'm thinking something along the lines of herbalism+alchemy = morphing potions, or mining+engineering = clockwork toys/weapons -- they could have different available items for each combination). I love the idea of being able to craft items... I'm sure most of the time they'd end up being lower-rarity, but the chance at a r99 every now and then would be great. I hope they're doing something along these lines!

Kind of like Fishing, except having more to it than a click of a button, and not requiring an insane amount of items like codestones or dubloons?

Yeah, that'd be nifty. Maybe it'd be another of those things that leaves your pet when you transfer it, just to be on the safe side. O.o'

wonderful idea. miners plus engineers could build shields and weaopns, herbalists could pursue the healing arts and gourmet food preparatiion, underwaqter basket weavers would do.........?????????

oh yeah like aprentice is the first step, then journeypet, then master. it would be so nice if the games did not depend on speed.

the basket weavers and engineers could make things for the neohomes.

It would be cool if as your pet becomes more developed and diversely skilled you get restock points or something.

Hmm... Make Neopets into D&D... Dagnabit! I knew I was eventually going to play D&D at some point in my life. I guess I should just except that I'm a geek and turn in my nerd title. Or is it the other way around? Bah!

For some reason, these clubs remind me of runescape and the different skills there. haha

Oi. Don't mention Runescape. I was almost late to class twice last week because I was watching a friend chop down trees in that game. That does sound more accurate than D&D though.

I'm curious as to who the other Archivists are (Finneus is at this URL : http://www.neopets.com/altador/archives.phtml?archivist=1)

I also want to know what's behind that other door.

And crafting classes would be awesome *drool*

:roflol: Sky, does your friend pay money for runescape members so that he can chop down magical trees? :roflol:

There probably aren't any other Archivists. Any other number used there just brings you back to the main page. I'm almost certain you know that already, but still.

No. He, like a lot of us, just plays it, and other flash games, at h-bar between classes. Neopets, Runscape, and the N-Game are the big games with us.

Of the clubs, I would like the Underwater Basket Weaving soi I could fill them with cheese (8)
