This one's nice. I like the re-coloration and especially the way you've tilted it to the side. The colors are beautiful, and I much prefer them over the original ones. It took me a while to notice the heart under the text, but it's pretty neat once I did.
I have mixed feelings about the border, one moment it looks kinda tacky, the other it looks really cool... I dont know, I'm glad you didn't stick to a boring pixel line though. -

I do like that color wash effect you did, the placement of the flower is really cool. Legend isn't especially visible, the text is cool lookin' though. The border bothers me, it's a black pixel line... runs through everything. I think it would look much better if it was a gradient or something. I'm not a big fan of what you did with the colors, but I suppose it does look nice in other tastes. -

Ahh, you did your famous color-wash thing again. Lovely colors. Although you did something unique with the border, the lines look really awkward. I dont know if this was done on purpose or not, but it looks like as if you didn't anti-alias the lines and then just blurred them. The text works, though I'm not a BIG fan of it. -

The first thing I notice is the texture, it's too overpowering. I think you should have left it out, or, erased it completely from where the butterfly was. It takes a lot away from the image. The second thing is the overpowering border, while I do applaud you for not using a one pixel line, I think it could've been thinner. The text seems also a bit out of place and un-antialiased. Perhaps a different colored drop-shadow would have helped it stand out? Good for your first LJ icon though. -

This one's really simple, but I like it... a lot. I love the colors, I'm glad it's black and beigy yellow, (or at least that's what it appears) instead of piercing white. The text placement and animation is great. Though it doesn't look like you've done much with the image, I'm glad you didn't. Sometimes it takes skill to know when to stop. -

When I first look at this, I think... WOW. That is beautiful, I think you work really well with flower images. However, I took a look at the original image, and I think... WOW! That has little relevance, but the original picture wowed me as much, if not more than your LJ icon.
Apart from that though, very nice job. I love the border and the colors. -

This is very pretty, I really like what you have done to the lily. The colors are great! Although, I wish you had used a different font or done something different for the text. Maybe something unique with the border will also help, but good job! I like this one! -

Well, this is very messy to begin with. Perhaps you could have placed the candle to the side and made the text go on the other side? So that they dont overlap and create a really messy feel. The background is also very distracting. I have one really, really crucial advice for you. (Because I think this will really improve your graphic abilities) If you know where layer properties are located, you could, instead of always choosing normal, pick overlay or soft light and experiment with the blending modes a little. -

Ooo, I like how you've sharpened the image. It was done nicely.
The lines in the background look really cool. However, the little circles behind the text is really distracting, perhaps you could make them fainter? The text itself is okay, but I cant help thinking perhaps one half of it should be blue and the other should be red. It looks awkward for some reason. -

I like what you did to the image, it's very pretty. Very soft and beautiful. However, the border really distracts from the image. I think this piece could be
so much better if it wasn't there. Monotype Cursiva (is that the font?) doesn't really look good here. Especially the I, it bothers me. -

Ahh, a neopets icon! This is very cool and nice, I like what you did to the image. Lovely brushing, and I love how it looks like it's saying "what" because you simply added some lines. I dont like how the brush goes over it though, the brush also seems a little un anti-aliased, perhaps making it just a tiny bit smaller would help. -

Bravo, VERY hard image to work with. You did a wonderful job with it. There's only one thing I'd like to nit-pick on. I think you should try to emphasize the text somehow, perhaps a dropshadow or whatever. I think it's a little bit overpowered by the rest. Perhaps the sharpening thing is just an effect I like. Excellent though. -

I like that you re-colored the image. However, in the original, there were someshadows that you didn't keep. Namely the one next to the nose, I think it would've looked very much better, if you had been able to keep it. Erasing the face was great, although, I wish you had erased her her collar's scanlines. As the collar is a light color, and the scanlines are very obvious on it. The text is also a bit messy. -

Ahh, this is very nice. The image was hard to work with. Even though in the LJ icon it's very hard to distinguish what it originally was, it looks absolutly stunning. The animation was well done too, I like that you've made it really fast so that nobody can really catch the last frame switch to the first unless they really looked for it. Although, I wish it wasn't just a black line for the border... Nice job though! -

This is stunning! I love vector art! The colors, the style, everything about it is great! Although, perhaps you could move the text to the empty lower half? 2006 will be hanging over the rounded edge, but I'd think that'll look cool. Very nice job! I've always been envious of people who could do vectors. -
