i once went out with £3, came home three hours later with £10..

another time me and my parents went out to get a bin for the caravan..
came home with a brand new caravan.

yet another time we went "up north to the cold lands" to visit family.
ended buying a house we looked at on a whim.

that dear peers, is shopping.

Well, spending twenty dollars, and part of it on a backpack...I'd say you aren't really a shopaholic. :)

I'm the total opposite, I don't really spend money. Rarely anything but food for me. :D

humm my paystubs tell me I should have over 3k in the bank...where has it all gone :(

I enjoy shopping every now and then, I like to be thrifty though and spend wisely. I do endulge though every once in a while, like speding 60 dollars one month for a manicure and pedicure. Or the month I spent over 100 dollars on stuff at victorias secret online. I only spend though when I can afford it. I wouldn't say you are a shopaholic....and neither am I :P

Well, if you did it everyday it would be something close to a shopaholic, but a backpack is quite a sensible object and it doesn't seem bad for $20 either. :)

I spent $100 in an amusement park before. Not so bad. You aren't addicted to shopping.

Nah, $20 isn't very much. Once, I spent $50 on shoes, sunglasses, and some little souvenirs! I think the most I spent in a day was about $110 on a GBA SP. (7.75% sales tax, it was a couple dollars less than $110)

$20? Hah.. That's nothing.

Try going to Abercrombie and buying two shirts like I do, everytime I go to the mall. You'll be whipping out more than $20 for half of one shirt. Oh well. lol

$20? Bah. I spend $80 on an manga "shopping spree" an hour ago. Got 7 manga. :D And most of my clothing is from Limited Too, which costs A LOT.

Wed Jul 14, 2004 9:06 am

$20 is nothing, especially over here.
If I go shopping with money, I'll end up spending most of it :P

Dude, you obviously haven't been to any good stores if you only spent $20 on that.

I'll spend $20 on one pair of jeans. And I'll buy about 3 pairs of jeans total, so thats $60. Add a couple of shirts and other things to that and I'm well over the $100 mark.

Hey, as long as you have it. I have 90 something dollars I've saving since last year. I'm going to be spending it on a American Idol game and another WalMart cd.

Spending $20 isn't that much... if you were female, you'd have to spend about ten times that just for a prom dress. I think the more accurate measure of your shop-a-holism is how much time you spend and how much stuff you have afterwards.
