I've also been stocking up on 'worm' items for 1 np for the last ... six months? I use them to heal while battling and probably won't be reselling this next war. The big thing is that they also heal diseases (from poisoning BD enemies) so they are awesome!
They are good for first time war stockers. Easy to buy at the lowest price, and then when battle starts, sell them for a few hundred or so. I recommend Worm Nuggets, Meatballs and Worms, and Rotten Wormy Apples.
Math:
...buying 100 worm items for 1 np apiece costs you 100 np. If you sell all at 100 np apiece, you have 10,000 in your til and make 9,900 np. That is if you sell them all or have them for sale when they go to that price. I used to keep them in my shop at the price, I hoped for, and then waited.

After I liquidate everything *hopefully it will happen faster!* I'm going to buy a ton of lucky robots foot. Last war, they hit 15K!

Hmm, at current wiz mean price, that would make a profit of about 6k a piece! Roughly a 66% return on the investment, not bad

Though it is pretty costly to invest, it would be a nice return.
Hmm, the fact I have 15 of those puppies sitting in my SDB right now makes it tempting, if I only had a jade SS or something like it that I could afford....maybe I will check the Amulet of Life, if it is still around.

Yeah, hopefully we can make some money. I'm goin to start buying soon. Amulet of Life is $10K, so it is still better to get in on the lucky robots foot.

Of course the biggest risk on all of this is that there may not even be a war, but just another puzzle plot.

We just don't have much more to go on I'm afraid.

I HIGHLY doubt it. Here is some of the evidence we have so far of a battle plot:
1. All of the Coliseums in Altador (I haven't bothered to count them, but I know there is more than 1)
2. The fact that the Darkest Faerie video game is a fighting game, with not a whole lot of puzzle value.
3. The whole Tainted Altador thing, which bears a striking resemblance to the Meridell plot.

That's true, and there really hasn't been evidence for a puzzle plot. Of course, if there is going to be a plot is still really not too proven outside of the appearence of a new world. I mean Kreludor came out pretty quietly, eh?

Yes and no. When it first came out, Kreludor was about as suttle as a flying mallet. There were Orange Grundos, a bunch of new items and shops, and the promise of a Sloth plot. However, the plot never materialized. I know this plot will, because the sales of their new video game could depend on it.

I know a little while ago in this thread it was brought up about the species quirks. Does anyone know of a list of these quirks?

All I know is the thing about Pteris. The other good thing about Pteris is that they take 40% less damage from wind attacks.

Yeah, I've found that out soon after I started my search for how to kick the Giant Ghoskerchief out of the ring.
I was meaning more like these quirks. The Pteri one is one that I am stocking up on right now, both in the morphing potions and in worm items.
It is also good to discuss the resistance/weaknesses, Which of the species is the best (just concerning these, not the others like worm healing or the also mentioned apple chucking).

Hey, has anyone tested to see if the Xweetok, Ogrin, or Gnorbu pets have any special resistances or weaknesses?
Also (hopefully more on-topic), do Chia items have any healthy effects on Lupes?

This article shows you how to make your pet sick. Maybe, can give you some info on which morphing potion to stock up on..

Well, on my point of view, for the first time, the sounds of war started too early. I was saving to buy some better weapons and in a matter of days the Ring of the Lost inflated a good half milion NP.
I gave up buying it. Rather save a bit more to buy something from the HT. At least, the prices are steady.
