For some reason the Darigan Gelert reminds me of a rooster. O.o Probably the sharp angle of the front legs, and the redness... *shrug*

Not sure if I like it. It's pretty generic... and that face strikes me as sickeningly cartoon-ish. Even more so than most Neopets art, somehow.

There are some small things about it that I sort of like but it doesn't look like a pet I'd consider getting.

Ugh. I hate the Darigan Gelert. What is with all these flat-colored, badly-drawn pets lately? I hope this one is like the mutant uni and stays unreleased. And I wish they would just redraw the gelert to look like the one in my signature. That's how they do almost all official art of them anyway, and it's closer to what we originally voted for.

I'd be even happier if the species was revamped to look like the grey gelert (except not so depressed, of course). The gelert started out a loyal adult dog and should have stayed that way. But I do also like the one in my sig -- too cute or not, it's still better than the present gelert.

Not to mention it looks like a deformed Scooby-Doo in the face. I'm disgusted for the second time this week with pet colours. Where's the good quality pets like the Darigan Kougra and Lupe?. Those were, and are, very nice pets. I could go on and on about 'quality' drawn Neopets but I won't.

Regardless I was hoping for an updated Faerie Gelert.

I just played it... it's a good game. Also, if they keep the payout the way it is, it'll be a big money earner.
