well, it seems they didn't bother talking about this in the news yesterday or in the editorial, go figure.

everyone needs to continue to post here how it's effecting them, why and to what degree. please send things in in every way shape and form possible.

if people want to post links on mailing them, post and i'll edit my topic starting post.

I'm annoyed that the "3 pieces per day" thing is only restricting some of us, while others are not getting blocked from entering the competitions. If you look at this, for example, the top person right now has 12 wins, when the most anyone should be able to have is 6.

Man, it was bad enough that I'm one of the players who make income thru games, and that the only game I was every good enough at to win map pieces was Meepit Juice Break. Guess what? That's gone too! Hooray. So far I've only ever won 4 pieces, and from the looks of it I'm not going to win any more. I was already getting tired of playing games, and thanks to TNT I'm prolly going to play even less, never mind the WCs.

PS: Christopher, I just looked, and it seems Skies Over Meridell is still there, so you still have hope!

The only game I was good enough at to win pieces from was Petpetsitter. Every single time I played it (which used to be a few hours per day), there were PLENTY of other players to compete against. I think the least I ever saw in one competition was 6. Of course, I wasn't the most regular WCer, but that's my experience. Yet apparently Petpetsitter still wasn't considered popular enough to make the cut. And now, every time I've checked the WC since the new changes were added, many of the surviving "most popular" games have had no more than 2 people entered at once. I fail to see the logic.

I sent a complaint to the editorial, and I would encourage folks to do the same. I'm almost convinced TNT is ignoring these forums, but if they get hundreds of editorial complaints, it's probably more likely we'll be heard.

It was added it would seem, the day after they changed the systems as it was certainly not when I posted.

Also, the 3 maps pieces thing is truely getting on my nerves. I'm only a casual player and I aim for 3 pieces a day, however if I can get more I do, but now my fortunes are irrelevant.

Meridell isn't 'readded', what they're doing is this 'random' thing for the 'unpopular' games.

But I agree with everyone on this 3 Map a day thing, your last paragraph sums up my personal way of doing things. I try for 3 when I play, if I can get more awesome. But now this is just all fugged up.

I have been able to get more then 3 a day sometimes but not that often. Now that they are randomizing the games I am lucky to even get 1 or 2. I still think if they are going to only let you do certain games a day then don't mess with how many because on the other days you may not be able to get any. Maybe what they should be doing is limiting how many maps you can convert in a month or something since it's getting so hard to get peices.

I'm not sure how people are entering for the same game more than 3 times, but I discovered accidentally today that you can earn more than 3 pieces total per day: I won a piece in one game one hour, then in the next hour I entered 3 different games and won pieces in all 3, giving me 4 pieces for the day. In theory you could earn 5 pieces per day, but I'm not planning to test that in case it's freezable.

Ok katy how many game avatars to you have??? just wondering congrats on getting 3 differnt games challenges.. Wish I was that good at games I could win them that easy. I really have to struggle to get the ones I do get.

Heh, I realized that, too. I entered the Volcano Run competition two hours in a row just after midnight and won both. Later today I entered Volcano Run again, and also Destruct-O-Match II and Faerie Bubbles. I won all three, making five pieces today. I guess I should probably send a bug report so they don't think I'm trying to cheat (did you send one yet?).

Also, I heard from some people that if you have a score pending at the end of your third competition, it will carry over into a fourth. I had one very good unmatched score in Volcano Run when my last competition ended, and although it shows up on my World Challenge scores page for the following hour (as a win), it does not show up on the actual WC competition page, so I guess I won't be getting a sixth piece.

I just don't get these changes and the inconsistencies. Please, TNT, please change the WC back to the way it was. Let us get our one 1 piece per hour's win (if we place), put the pieces in our galleries - not our inventories, and just let us enter whatever games we happen to like and have even the slightest chance of getting a game piece for.

This newest change has done nothing but uber inflate both full maps and individual pieces. Not to mention that the maps are, ATM, kind of hts since there's rumors (true?) that 1 now has an even greater chance of a bad prize, 2 prizes are kind of 'downgraded' and you have to get to 3 to get anything worthwhile.

This is all so confusing and frustrating. And as has been said over and over, it's not doing anything to stop the cheaters and hoarders -- in fact they're having a field day, especially the hoarders with the prices on pieces.

And yes, I have written in.

I am definitely finding single pieces hard to sell. I haven't been able to finish a full map thanks to all these doubles/triples, so I don't know how well those are selling. I know I've said it a million times and I'm just preaching to the choir here, but this SUCKS.

And some people are still not being restricted to three wins per day, while others are. One guy had 17 Volcano Run WC wins last time I checked, when the max anyone should have is 9 (or maybe 12, if all three days they had a pending score that carried over into a new hour).

Hungry Skeith had it's unpopular game day so I got some NC3 pieces. 3x3.8 to be specific:P Fortunately managed to trade two of them for unique pieces though, but of course now I can't win anymore with the 5 games I have to choose from:(

So ... they are still only letting you win 3 pieces a day, but you can get a better "score" by continuing to complete.

Bah. That is completely LAME LAME LAME.

Edit: Furthermore, it seems to be broken.

Edit Edit: So they are trying to prevent unpopular games from giving out too many pieces for the "valuable prizes" ... but we'll now let people who have already won their WC pieces to join in the game and submit scores, making it easier for their buddies to get pieces cheaply.

Edit Edit Edit Edit: (Sorry, I have to keep adding to this post, since I am the only one that seems to be outraged by the latest development) I was just looking over the structure of the WC maps ... any I seem to see a fatal flaw. I can actually look at series 1, series 2, AND series 3 maps in the worlds I haven't converted any maps in. Does this mean I can just immediately convert a series 3 map, *before* converting series 1 and 2? They can't mean to let people do this, can they?
