Is it a bird ?
Is it a plane ?
No! It's Superman!!
No wait...it was a bird...

Every week, I will post a new question, asking you if you would scam an account in order to obtain something desirable. Please note that no matter how absurd it may seem, you will get away with scamming that account.

  • Scam - To get into somebody's account and make it so the person it rightfully belongs to can no longer access it (No matter what, the person cannot retrieve anything from the former account)
  • Account - One other than yours which belongs to an innocent bystander (unless stated otherwise) who you do not know. (IE : Not your worst enemy)
  • Something desirable - You will only receive what the question states you will. If the question is "Would you scam Borovan's account for 2 NP", even though Borovan has more than 2 Neopoints, you would only receive those two neopoints.
  • Get away with scamming that account - Even if there is undeniable proof that you scammed tha person, you will not be frozen, warned, exposed as the scammer, nobody would know you did it and any negative reprecussions of you scamming that account will not affect you

(EG : In Week 5, all idiots/spammers/scammers etc would be frozen. If you were a spammer/scammer/idiot, you personally would not be frozen for scamming the account in question)

Results from week 1 : For 100,000 NP, 28% of the voters would scam an account
Results from week 2 : For 1,000,000 NP 36% of the voters would scam an account
Results from week 3 : For complete moderation powers over the neoboards, only 25% of the voters would scam an account
Results from week 4 : For the pet of their dreams, only 12% of the voters would scam an account
Results from week 5 : To remove all scammers, spammers, idiots etc from Neopets, 70% of the voters would scam an account
Results from week 6 : For a one of a kind trophy, 18% of the voters would scam an account
Results from week 7 : To watch them squirm, 37% of the voters would scam their worst enemy's account
Results from week 8 : For the opportunity to look generous by giving items to them to help them start anew, only 3% of the voters would scam their best friend's 12 month old account

---------------------------------------------------

This week's question :

  • Would you scam an account for 25,000,000 Neopoints (that's 25 million)

AS ALWAYS, DO NOT PUBLICALLY REVEAL WHO YOU VOTED FOR. Please don't check the results before you vote, I want honest opinions, not influenced by what others have said

Man, you are making this hard on us. I mean, think about it, really. On one hand, you'd have everything you could ever ask for, and more, even by just living of the interest or investing it into stocks. On the other... when you have everything, what's left to play for? I am, for some reason, reminded of this quote from the Simpsons:

Marge: Homer! That side of bacon was for my bridge game tonight!
Homer: Marge, if you don't mind, I'm a little busy right now achieving financial independence.
Marge: With cans of grease?
Homer: No! Through savings and wise investment. Of course with grease.

I don't think I'm gonna vote just yet...

In contrast, 25mil won't get you anything you ask for. For example, an item I would want for my gallery - the Alien Aisha Scrambler costs more than 30 million neopoints (or something like that. Prices fluctuate) The set I am saving up for will cost me about 50 million neopoints.

Twenty five million NP may be able to buy some people whatever they want, but for me it won't.

I really don't like these scam for money questions (or rather the results) - the results always disappoint me :(

I have this theory that if I didn't work for most of it (if not all of it) then it isn't mine and it's not worth having (unless it's a present). But this one was a total no brainer (for me anyway) because if you want 25,000,000nps you can play games and invest in stocks. (those are the 2 easiest ways to get it) Also I wouldn't do it because someone worked hard to get that money and I wouldn't want to steal it because they earned it and they deserve it.

--Just my view on it.

I figured with all the more recent questions about non-materiual things, I thought it was time for a good hard monetary value question :P
