Adblock lists for Restocking?

Tue Feb 07, 2006 3:46 pm

I know this is extremely poor of me to ask, but I was wondering if anyone happened to have the following. I know a few people use Adblock to filter out unwanted items in their favoured place to shop, and I was pondering if anyone would share their coding. Although it'll save me a very long time of manually doing this myself, feel free to scowl at me for asking. :P
Just a short little note!. If you do share, please post which shop your coding fits.

I thought it was against the rules to do that because it gives you an unfair advantage.

I would suggest against doing it...just a heads up.

Alright, I won't. ^^; I just heard the tip from someone else and thought I'd try- but if you feel that way then heck! I'm sure to take your opinion. oO; *clings to pet* <3

Ad-Block

I just do it manually while I'm going to different pages - you can't remove the flash stuff, but just right-click and block those images as you go along.

You may aswell say about those who RS and Adblock the adverts . It gives them an advantage of being able to load the page faster .

You know, I've never heard one way or another about that. I wonder if TNT counts that as an unfair advantage...

I do believe that Adam came here and said that using Adblock was not against the rules when the ads first started appearing, and that's it's been mentioned in editorials. Also, premium members don't see ads either. Blocking specific items for the purpose of restocking seems likely to get you frozen if you're found out. It gives you a specific advantage beyond what's available even to paying players.

This would give you an unfair advantage, and thusly, would be considered cheating. As per the GC rules.

The Rules wrote:Do not post or link to anything that goes blatantly against the Neopets Terms and Conditions. This includes, but is not limited to, information on how to cheat on Neopets, information on how to hack someone's Neopets account, requests for a neositter or offering neositting services, any request for anyone's Neopets password, links to autobuyers or other programs that "help" you play games or do Neopets activities, or any scams, cheats, or hacks. To clarify, asking if something is against the Terms and Conditions is fine (we all know it can be vague on many topics), but a post saying "I cheat on the flash games, here's instructions on how to do it!" is not.
