Is there a way to 'quick-starve' your pets?

No, but if you're trying to force feed your pet neggs or glowing jelly or something, there is a trick you can use to make him just full enough to feed one thing. Spin the Wheel of Excitement and get the one that give you "...and your pet is not hungry anymore" result, and it will make him be at the low end of bloated. Also, I think if you check your pet into the neolodge, then after he's fully checked in, check him back out, he will be at the low end of bloated.

No there is not a fast way to starve.

Kess's idea actually isn't that effective.

It's much more effective if your pet is "dying". You can feed your pet every two hours when your pet is like that. (feed it, it's starving. 2 hours later, it's dying, repeat)

Somehow I think you already knew that. I used to do this with BBQ porkwiches, and my pet weighed 1251 lbs ( 8) ) when the account was frozen. :x

If you wanted to feed a pet food for an avatar, or if you wanted to feed them a lot of the same item at once.

Gone, forever.

Or if you were trying to get the Blue/Red random event.

Noooooooo...

I've been starvin' my Buzz for days. I already got it to 'very hungry' But I do have it as my active pet. Then I go to the Healing Springs... BAD idea!

The Water Faerie says a few magical words and...

Vasantesanah regains their hit points, and is not hungry any more!!!

Featheralley wrote an article for the NT a while back on feeding your pet more often. I had to look it up. It's old though, I don't know if it's still accurate.

Even if it's not up-to-date anymore: thanks for the effort! Looks good! :)

EDIT: I say 'even if it's not up to date anymore', but it is. Everything described in the article works just fine. It's the last method (getting to 'dying') which I was trying, and then that stupid, stupid Water Faerie had to go and ruin it. Ah well, back to square one.
