Hey, has anybody gotten a Handy Spike Pit and put it in their Neohome? I'd like to see what it looks like, installed. 'Course I'll be getting books for 'Traveler with prize points, but I can probably get a Spike Pit w/ NP. I'm wondering how it would look in the murder hole--I mean, entrance to my Neohome.

I'm considering using points to buy a Ring of the Lost and np to buy a Royal Wedding Ring. Do you think the wedding ring will go down in price or would it be best to buy now?

I can't imagine the wedding ring going any lower than ramtors spellbook, which is now around 800k, and if it does it won't be for long. Ramtors does 10 icons, and the ring does 9-11. There's a lot of nonbattlers around who don't know or couldn't care less about it as a weapon and are selling for less than what it'd go for as a war prize. So, it'll either go up once the hype dies down in a few weeks, or push ramtors spellbook and scuzzys comb prices down.

Heh, I guess one of the problems I'm facing with these prizes is that I don't have any clear goals on neopets. I'm not a battler, I don't read books to my pets, etc, etc. I've just emptied out my bank and will be trying to buy the wedding ring and will then buy ring of the lost... if I ever DO get into battling, they will be helpful (mind you, I've always been economically-minded, so I'd rather restock but that's another story... neopets would be great with crafting :P or with me having a faster connection).
The books would be my second choice simply because they related to staff members, but with buying the wedding ring I am now absolutely broke. ;.; (if my trade is accepted.)

I'm curious as to how many people were able to get the Ring of the Lost so, I made a poll:

http://www.pinkpt.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=24207

I think it's funny how some of the people on the neoboards are getting upset that "puzzle people" are getting better prizes than "battledomers." I myself am a battledomer and happened to do this puzzle and was able to get the Ring of the Lost. So, regardless of who you are, everyone was given the same chance to do this puzzle and there were guides to help out (which, I for one, took advantage of). Regardless of the guides, this puzzle was challenging. Thinking about all the time I spent mapping that tomb makes me sick. Anyway, not that anyone is complaining here. I actually think this was one of the best and fairest plots I participated in. My only complaint is how long it took for the prizes.

Apparently I completed part of the puzzle without really knowing- I got 1000 points for getting the first parchment piece through Pyramids. Yay.

New trophy, and new bobblehead. :D

Assuming everybody who completed to plot up till beating Razul got 179,300 points (or there abouts) and those who didn't, or those that jumped in late got 149,300 (or there abouts) - the two figures seem to be about right, excluding speed bonii and whatnot - then...

7000 people beat Razul
About 1/3 (just a guess) jumped in late
So about 4620 people could buy it. But that's a rough estimate, probably anywhere between 4000 and 6000 people can buy it

Alright... just as a side: I'm looking to collect the keyrings. Once I have my items I will have nem keyrings (and will throw spares at people who ask), but if anyone else has extra keyrings of different types and is willing to donate them, throw them at ledrane and I'll be grateful. I just emptied out my bank to try and get a wedding ring, so... hoping for a little charity for the keyrings. ^^;

Looking at all the rings in the trades, it looks like everyone and their brother has one. Yet I read the neoboards and everyone is crying because the don't have one. *note to self, stop reading neoboards and go to bed* :D

At least the trophies are pretty.

The prizes aren't bad; my only complaint (like others have mentioned) is that there isn't much in the lower range.

This puzzler was unique in that it required a combination of brains AND brawn, and that it drew the community together as we struggled against TNT. :P It's rare when a company can string its customers along for five months, waiting for one last clue...

Let's hope they're able to do it again. :D

Yeah, my friend did the pyramids thing, couldn't find his door, and then swore a bit and decided to give up. He got 1000 points. :D

Why exactly are people on the BD Boards at Neo (I should learn to avoid that place, I really should) crying out for the ROTL to be downgraded? o_O

So it'll sell for less and they might have a chance at buying it. (My guess).

Either that, or they're afraid someone will use it on them in the BD and they'll get smeared like peanut butter.
