I was just on my gallery account when I got this n-mail:


Funny, last time I entered for Gallery I was rejected a day after submitting it and now I get this. Maybe because it's a Buzz gallery(only one actually) and it falls on wednesday this year. Glad I didn't take the gallery down.

Anyways, if you read that n-mail, they tell me to not mess with the gallery's look, but the also tell me to make it look better. So do I mess with it or leave it alone?

This is the gallery, it's simple, but the theme was for a halloween Buzz and not Buzz in general.

I'd probably go with the added note there, ie changing it. I think though that they don't want a massive change or anything so maybe just changing the colours to something lighter would do? I don't think there would be enough time to add a sidebar or anything like that...

I though the colors went well(mostly dark colors with white text), so I wasn't sure what to fix. I doupt I can get a sidebar done before tomarrow, or really, later tonight. Banner, not sure what to make.

I guess I didn't think much of a sidebar since I have the halloween one and that's all I ever see. The yellow one kinda work for the gallery as well. Now Mara, snow, and v-day ones don't.

Guesss I'll think of something to change.

I think that when you change your gallery, you should test it out in your shop or on a spare account first. Or after work hours, so TNT won't view it while you're still in the process of changing it. As for what to change... Maybe it's just my monitor, but that shade of blue (the table background) seems particularly harsh.

Personally, I would make the colours more.. appealing? Lighter? They seem a bit harsh, but I can't put my finger on what it is exactly.

Well, I would make the blue and the gray both one shade lighter, but it's your call. It looks pretty nice as it is.

Hmmm I'm guessing it has to do with computer light settings cause I know mine used to be really dark till I lightened it a bit. Maybe I'm not getting what harsh really means, was trying for a dark feel,but I guess it didn't work as well.

Darn, I'll have to check an HTML code to get a shade lighter for both cause I noticed I'm not using the preset form as I thought.
Some people onthe neoboards were saying that gallery is eating HTML, so I've been owrries about updating it. Might keep it as it is till after tomarrow now since I have no time to fix it till get get home really late. -.-

Oh well, I was never expecting this to have a chance and if I do win...yay, but it wasn't the best it could be. Heh, I'm still content. Least I got in for Buzz day art gallery.

I'm quite happy it won, 3 years I've been doing this and gonna keep updating it. I'm gussing TNT n-mail you before you win gallery spotlight.

Bah...the tablet looked better on the normal gallery then in spotlight. ;_;

EDIT: Crap! TNT did break the HTML code. I just wen to update my gallery and the HTML is all gone! I have the HTML saved, but it won't get fixed. ;_;
