If you like it, particularly learning about Geisha, I suggest Geisha by Liza Dalby. It's a nonfiction/academic piece, but it's a very fun read. Geisha, A Life by Iwasaki Mineko isn't as good, but it's written by the woman that Arthur Golden interviewed for Memoirs of a Geisha (and was later sued by for reasons you can find on the web).

1984 by George Orwell. Pretty interesting book, slightly odd at times.

The New World Order by Ben Jeapes. It's quite silly.

I just finished Memoirs of a Geisha. It was okay, kind of repetitive in the middle, but it really picked up at the end. My mom wants me to go see the movie with her, so that's why I read it in the first place.

Finished the Abhorsen series by Garth Nix. It seems like they get better with every book. In other words, I loved them. :P

Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring - J. R. R. Tolkien.

A great book, I just don't read it that often. I'm about halfway through it.
