I seriously hope that's some wild mutant xweetok or something, because that's the most hideous pet I've ever laid eyes on. Ugh!.
Where's my April Fool's Pet?
For one thing that.. that.. creature is completely cartoonish looking, horribley drawn and, and-- Just look at it's neck!. It's the size of a toothpick with some tuft of fur that makes it look like a wocky/kougra/llama hybrid gone wrong. It's ears remind me of tassels and it just has this thought going through my head like I'd see it on some cereal commercial replacing tony the tiger. Eeyuck! I've never hated something so much in my time on neopets-- even if it IS a new.. colour or paintbrush option. I hope that isn't serious.

I'm very much hoping they scrape this new pet...for one, we just GOT new pet, and for two: AT LEAST TELL US WHAT HAPPENED TO THE APRIL FOOLS PET! If your not going to do it, SAY SO, at least people will stop fretting about it!
Art related: They're shopkeepers, relax, shopkeeper art is rarley on the same par as actual pet art. This new pet still has some hope.
From what I can tell though, the pet looks like a very confused tiger/donkey mix.

Ugh! Whatever that is, I don't want to see it released. They still owe us the Lutari and the April Fools pet... so could they just cut directly to those already or at least say WHY they haven't been released -yet-?
We wound up getting a response about the flash maps - so what about the april fools pet? >.> That thing right there.. is a joke. It's got to be. It's very cute, but I don't like it as a neopet.

It better be a joke. It's the worst pet ever. It's name with probably be Hugysdufsdfl, to go along with the Xweetok. But seriously. They better release the amazing Lutari they keep putting off and the April Fools pet. Or they could /atleast/ tell us which pet won the contest. Sheesh. =/

My feeling on this is that the April Fools pet is about to be released.
But in my opinion, this is not the April Fools pet. I wouldn't put it past tnt and their sense of humour to announce the april fools pet with another "april fools" along the way - ie trick the fansites by releasing only the shopkeepers (the easiest way of finding an un-named pet) and perhaps even go so far as to announce it in the news (but it would be un-creatable) and then go "ha! fooled again!" and announce the real one which would be a total suprise.
And I'm clinging to that hope for as long as I can!

.. If that were the case I can just imagine the amusement they are getting over the fanboards. Maybe your right, if you look at it long enough it does look like a crossbreed of all "favoured" April Fools Pets-- Wait a minute. You don't think they'd try and stick them all together if the votes were tied or very close, would you?.

That... that better be a joke. They better replace those with the real images right before release, or it better be a VERY early April Fool's joke, or... something. Anything. That is one of the ugliest creatures I have EVER seen. The chia is gorgeous next to that. That looks NOTHING like any of the April Fool's pets we could vote on. It's just... ugh. Ugh. I choose to believe it's a joke, and that we're getting a really cool pet soon.

I'm thinking that will be their excuse for how it looks before admitting it is a joke and releasing the real one. Another thought occured to me too - this thing is so horrible that no matter what pet they really released after (if this is indeed a joke) they aren't going to get many complaints. I mean, I would love a Polaflint but after seeing this weird thing I would be relieved to see even the llama pet released instead. By giving us a scare no one is going to fight over how "their" pet didn't win. Sneaky.
I'm so convinced this is an april/december fools joke before the real april fools pet is released I'm going to be gobsmacked if it doesn't turn out to be the case. It is tnt's kind of humour though. *thinks up names for a polaflint just in case*

That Kind of looks like a kougra/blumaroo/moehog crossbreeding thing that went horribly wrong. But well, I don't actually hate it.
Neopets only has two letters left to make pets with, that I know of. An O and a V. Let's hope this is the V, because I really want a Owl type pet. So they could still make an Owl.
I hearby name this thing the VlipVlop, since the ears flipflop.
Or maybe Vroom since the tail looks like it'd make a good broom.
Actually, it would be handy for doing housework with that tail...

No, but really, maybe it IS a joke. like, we are all waiting on this April Fool's pet... so they are pulling a prank saying "heres your fools pet! hah, gotcha!" or something.... its like... a giraffe tiger. without a neck. i dont know what it is.... but i use something similar to it's ears to scrub my bathtub.
