neopets premium

ive only been on neopets for 4 mths now and would like to know more about neopets premium:

1. how do u get it?

2. do u pay for it?

3.would i have to start a new neopets account to get it?

4. do u need premium to use and get different sidebars?

5. is there any other helpful info about premium that u would like to tell me and the other non premium users about?

ur help and answers r greatly appreciated

1. I think the best way to get it currently is to receive a referral from someone who already has premium.

2. Yes, you must pay a monthly fee for Premium (although I don't know the rate)

3. No, you don't have to start a new account.

4. Sidebars are available for non-premium as well, although there are special tricks to get them permanently (ie for the Halloween sidebar you have to be using Neopets at 11:59pm on Halloween to get it, I think). Perhaps there are sidebars only available for premium users? I don't really know...

5. Can't answer this, I don't have premium. ^_-

I would get premium for all the benifits especially Super shop wizard , that immedately finds the cheapest price for items instead of refreshing heaps of times , Probably going to get premium after X-mas

I'm not on premium, but this is what I know

1) You need a referal from someone who has Premium (check people's sigs on the forum, some say things like "Need a premium referal? PM ME!").

2) Yes, I forget how much, but I think it is under or about $10 American.

3) I do not believe you would need to start a new account.

4)No you do not, I have Halloween and Curse of Maraqua. They are just very specialized to get.

4. Yes. If you get five (six? Can't remember) referrals you get a special, Premium-only sidebar.

If you don't have Premium, though, you can still get other sidebars such as the Halloween/CoM/Valentines ones.

5. Premium has some very useful perks - for one, those horrible, bulky top-ads don't show up if you have Premium. And you get a fully-functional webmail feature as well, in the format of (your_username)@neomail.com to which you can get special "Random Event" eMails with rare items and neopoints, as well as a free Space Faerie Scratch Card every Friday. Not only that, but you can add an "Alias" username so that your side account gets all these perks as well!

I have quite a few referrals left, so if you want to sign up, just say the word and I'll send one to you!

thx for the great info unfortunately neither me or my husband have credit cards so getting premium would obviously be out of my reach :cry:

i guess i will just have to deal with what i got :cry:

and besides if its 8 american a mth i can only guess how jacked up it would be here in canada again thx for the great info

I have a question

i have been refereed and have set it up how do i use the premium service as i cannot find it

eg super shop wizard
new layouts
space faerie scratch card
i keep getting the message that the portal is not ready or i have not logged in

what am i doing wrong?
