Congratulations! You have guessed correctly in the Lenny Conundrum game (round 142). You have won 659 NP!

Because you were in the first 250 to guess correctly, you also have been awarded a Baby Rattle, and receive a trophy and the Lenny Conundrum avatar!

The answer: Attack of the Marblemen

Image

The question asks: "Barry the Baby Shoyru was featured in which game?"

Start on the second column, use 2 letters. Then move to the fourth column, and use 2 letters ... continue this way.

Then, start over but use the first column, third column, etc...

Then, move down to the 3rd and fourth rows. Repeat.

Only 659np this week :(. Well, at least the baby rattle is worth a decent amount. Didnt get the answer in time for a trophy upgrade though.

New one's up

A large birthday cake was baked to celebrate the 6th birthday of Neopets. It was a round cake, made of two layers of vanilla cake; each layer was 18 inches in diameter and 3.5 inches tall. Between the two layers was a quarter inch of chocolate frosting. And covering the top and side of the cake was 3/8" of buttercream frosting.

If the vanilla cake has 140 calories per cubic inch, and the chocolate frosting has 320 calories per cubic inch, and the buttercream frosting has 470 calories per cubic inch, how many 800-calorie servings are in the cake? Please round down to the nearest serving.

xP

I hate these kinds of questions

Eurgh...submitted my answer one hour after it was released - I was eating dinner :)

I got an answer. No real hints for this one.

Can I PM someone to confirm?

I answered "Attack of the Marblemen!" on last weeks and it wasn't correct because of the exclamation mark :x
So I never got a neomail which means I am very late on this one :x

It seemed that my answer disagreed. I have figured out I was wrong, though.

I doubled checked and didn't see any problems ... but I now see I had missed part of the question.

So ... I now indeed get an answer like Neomania ... with XYZ and Y = 2X+1 now.

Never mind me and anything earlier here you might have read. I'm an idiot.

This is the first time I submitted an answer to a Lenny Conundrum...and a math one no less! I don't think it was that hard though...I hope I got it right.

After thinking about this LC *WAY* too long ... I have found an interesting conundrum in it beyond the conundrum they are asking.

I can assume something, and get an answer. This is probably the answer they want.

I can get an answer that is 5 smaller than the answer I have if I assume something else ...

Furthermore, I can get an answer that is 1 smaller than the answer I have if I assume something else ... which I think should technically be correct. It involves a torus, though ... which might be a bit advanced for an LC.

So ... I have already answered (wrongly) ... but I just like thinking about the LC's. It will be interesting to see which answer they want.

Yeah if you assume the butter frosting top ridges are rounded that would complicate things a little (you just need the volume for a fourth of a torus). Um Xena don't feel bad. I submitted a wrong answer too. I told my artist friend who drew the cake for me the answer i was referring too in my previous post. So we are going to split the neopoints and i get the prize if they get top 250.

Well, that difference tells me we were doing it the same way. I went with the larger # also, but probably hours after you & anyone getting a prize/trophy.

One of Conundrum Lenny's most cherished possessions is the complete set of the very rare "Caring For Your Neopets" books (volumes 1 though 5). Each book is 62 millimetres thick, which includes the front and back covers, which are 4 millimetres thick each.

One evening, he sat down and opened one of the books and there was a hole in it! How could this be? It turned out a Wormoeba had eaten through the books, starting on the first page of Volume 1 and eating all the way to the last page of Volume 5.

If the Wormoeba had eaten through the books in the most direct route possible, how many millimetres did the Wormoeba travel? Please submit your answer as a number.

It this too easy?
