lvl 1 earth = 4K
lvl 4 earth = 4K
lvl 7 earth = 4K
lvl 10 earth = 4K
16K + the potion (i payed 600). I actually payed more than 4K for my earth bottled faes. That bomb which blocks all costs like 12K, but burrow is permanent ability. I already had burrow so didn't need the bomb.

To use burror + starlight + spear you also need lvl 10 pet (for burrow), and some health and/or use the faerie springs (domage4damage)...

and I would forget where my faerie door was well I eliminated 2.. 10 to go ugh ugh ugh

Before I heard about the starlight potion, I used defend and the spear of infinite wisdom, and he still smooshed my pet to a pulp. But I got a draw.

zootnarf has weak stats and used a Wooden Blocking Shield with a general attack. Normal, straight-forward stuff. The only difference is this user payed attention to the fact that there was a correlation (seemingly) between the choice of the Spear of Wisdom, pet's Intelligence, and intelligent use of weapons (that had nothing to do with force/brutality/strength/stats/expensive Burrow/etc.).

I would have won if i had 13/13 HP. He only gave me 8 dark icons, so even a Slime Potion (what i originally was about to use instead of Starlight Potion) would have negated those icons as that heals 10 HP. 10 - 8 = 2. Slime P. is cheap as well, and non-single use. Maybe my smart spear made 'em do a dumb move hehe.

Defending is very different from using burrow. The former is far more likely get you smooshed, the latter gives you a much better chance of winning in conjunction with the correct weaponry.

The multiple fights has been confirmed by a staff member as a bug. It will not affect plot things at all, and when this is over anyone who has more than 1 win on him will have it brought down to 1 and the extra BD points will go away.

A draw against him will not give you any battledome points, but plot-wise will be just the same. (You can pretend your pet went off and sacrificed herself to save the world, if you like )

If he did 8 *icons* of damage and not 8 hitpoints, then that equals more than 10 hitpoints of damage. If I remember correctly, an icon is about 2 hps worth of damage during a normal attack, more if he was fiercely attacking or going beserk on you.

I've also heard of battles where Razul did nothing but use his jade dragonstone or did absolutely nothing during the first round (no connection ever found between what weapons or abilities that were being used at the time), but I wouldn't count on something like that if someone really wants the win over the draw.

Hmm... Giving your life in defence of Sakhmet... how Klingon. Qapla! (Success!) Now I sorta wish I had a pet that looked like a Klingon when I got my butt whooped.

If you want to beat Razul and take no damage whatsoever, use a thick smoke bomb (14-16K or so) plus your Nuria weapon, and anything else you like. TSB blocks all damage on a turn -- it's like a one-use Thyora's Tear.

If you want a chance at winning and taking no (or very little) damage, use starlight potion (600 NP or so) plus your Nuria weapon, plus burrow (or defend, if you haven't got burrow -- but burrow is definitely preferable). The potion will block all dark icons, so if he uses his Sword of Skardsen or something, none of those dark icons will get you. This worked for a lot of people.

But yeah, if you want a guaranteed win and 0 damage, thick smoke bomb is where it's at. Just for heaven's sake, don't do what a neoboarder I saw did and use thick smoke bomb plus some random normal weapon first turn (saving your Nuria weapon for the second turn, for some insane reason), because chances are good he will freeze and then murder you.

8 icons of dark damage can mean a whole lot more depending on what Razul's strength is. It certainly wouldn't be as little as 8 hitpoints of damage. The stronger an opponent or pet is, the more damage they can do per icon.

Of course... I accually beat him. But I dont think there is a klingon phrase for "Today is a good day to beat the snot out of the enemy twenty times your size".

Razul probably has the 700 strength boost Huggles. This means when he does 8 dark icons it will do 8*15= 120 damage. When he then besserks, assuming he does, it will do 120*1.5=180 damage.

For those who are not familer with the battledome, EITHER DEFEND OR USE BURROW when you fight him. When you use an attack, that increases the amount of damage he does to you, making it that much harder to survive. Defend DECREASES the damage, while burrow blocks icons.

Oh yeah guys... don't forget! If you start the match and you screw up horribly and find yourself frozen and facing Razbabbafat holding a snowball and some dirty lenny breetches.... you can always return to the status page and withdraw from the match and start it over.
*edit* Err, start it over minus any one-use items you already blew (like the TSB).

Ka-blah back at ya! My Lenny died a glorious death, used his last breath to thrust the Spear of Wisdom through the hellish, molten heart of the evil Razul. Even as the embers of Razul lay cooling on the desert sands, Lenny_mas_Grande gave up his last health point and was greeted with the sounds of the valkyries coming to take him to Valhalla. Uff-da!

Haha thanks i guess i finally figured why i always lose from certain peeps at the 1P BD now. Now how to solve hehe.

Btw, using Starlight Potion + Sink makes no sense. Earth and Air will come through Sink (both blocked by Burrow) whereas Sink already blocks 97,5% of Dark. Using SP to block 100% instead of 97,5% makes no sense.
