I took a starlight potion and got a draw.

Oh wow, thanks TopsyTourny. I picked up a Starlight as well as a Nanka, just in case. I will try it now and see if I get a real draw this time.

I'm not a fighter either. I did it because it was all I could do to further myself in the plot, and I already have 3.33 years and 42,000 gray hairs invested in it!

Okay, I admit I thought this was going to be another one of those "just hit the guy once with the 'magic' weapon regardless of what your pet is equipped with" parts. So I just went in with my Spear of Infinite Naivety (*cough* I mean Wisdom), used the Spear and some other lame weapon on the first try, but I got no draw. In fact he defeated me, of course. So when people say they are "defeating Razul" and/or "getting a draw" is this true?

Do I have to use my best weapons (which are still not that great) to elicit a greter blow to him just to get a draw? Anyone else having this problem?

I have a wimpy pet, little Battledome experience (I think I've fought once, and lost for an avatar), and I only equipped the special weapon (spear) with a wooden blocking shield. I believe I did "normal attack" and defeated him on the first try without my pet being hurt. Maybe I'm just lucky?

Can't remember who said it but you can play Fruit Machine if you access it from the games room, it's just not back on the map yet.
I finally overcame my problems with the comic not loading up and got my weapon from Nuria. I fought Razul and got a draw, which I really hope is enough.
Has anyone been back to look at their mysterious tablet since fighting Razul? Mine's gone back to showing the original symbols and the first prophecy. Has anyone else's? Or is it showing the Qasalan symbols?

yea, it's there...it's in the bottom most comic panel, slightly left of the center on the floor.

Yes. Check the bottom panel, right next to the foot of the walking guard (mid-right section)
