Lost Desert Plot Discussion #127 (Summary in First Post)

Just got home from the city, loaded up Neopets, read the next Chapter then zipped on over here.

I really don't think that the plot is over yet. There was no "happy ending" posted, no bells and whistles at all.

I think we are missing something completely but have not yet figured it out. In a few days, I am sure TNT will release another part of the story (the Chapter that came out didn't say it was the end really did it?)

I have been to the Lost Desert and, yes, it has changed, but it is still being rebuilt.

This is definately an anti-climax and something more is going to happen, probably this weekend.

I still think there is something that we need to do in the Temple even though people have been trying to say things to the Faerie Statue and all with no results. TNT is surely going to give us some sort of "clue" as to what next needs to be done. We really haven't done much for battling but more puzzling than the previous "plot" (though, I have never participated in previous adventures as I didn't know they were going on...lol).

Eep, I think you're right! Look at the last panel of the last comic. I see debris-shifting, column-straightening, barge-toting and bale-lifting in our futures! Qasala is a mess. Maybe the scrolls are blueprints?

I FINALLY found the jelly monster in the traps. . .I'm working on my 3rd crystal scrolls right now. I'm heading into Anubis Toxicology Reports and I need a little support here. . . Luckily I only have 2 scrolls in ATR but it's still enough to really bum me out.

My daughter stopped at the T-shirt. At least she has a cool t-shirt that says "I mappped the temple of 1000 tombs and all I got was this lousy T-shirt". all I got was this lousy scroll.

I'm sure something will happen. Remember, waiting is an integral part of this plot.

Look for both of the scrolls when you go in to find the first. I found that usually I had to look at most of the racks in the room before I found the one I was looking for. I think the scroll locations were generated as you browsed through the rooms, saving the one you're looking for till the end.

Clucky has given up. 6 times on every combo. Nothing will give him the white tep. Unless,do you guys think, would reading the other three white scrools in order again possibly unlock the abliity to get the white tep?

Don't think that's true. I found my scroll in ATR in the 4th rack I checked. And also, what if you'd been in before? I think it's just randomly preset where they are.

Have you tried the ones before and after? It's possible either a) You messed up on the last set of three, so you have to redo it, or b) you already finished your tep, so you can move on to the next one.

whewwww I just finally finished the white scrolls{thank goodness the combo's didnt take too many tries 23 total and 7 being most to get clue for white} and got fourth crystal first try, I still am not sure how I managed that{I think I went nuts and chose for some reason the yellow door with nem symbol as it was last scroll I had to get for last white clue}. So, now Im waiting til 10 pm or 2 am nst..I cant seem to remember if it was 6 my time or neo time when I found it first time lol so Im covered looking both those times and hopefully I'll get to blow up the wall{cant tell Im looking forward to taking frustration out on the wall huh lol} and grab scroll and run...I have to say this plot has been an interesting first experience, and Id most likely do another plot. It might have been a pain{glares around making sure pant devil and grundo stay away from crystal and scroll once I get it}, but all in all it coulda been alot more repetitive and tedious but it kept me on my toes making sure I didnt mess up...Also, trying to figure out the combo's teased the mind a bit so that was pleasant even if I didnt come up with it before anyone else which I do want to say a huge thank you to those who did figure it out and posted all the helpful screenies and info, without yall Id probably be fighting with it 10 yrs from now lol{whewww sure am glad to have yall there}...
Since Im still waiting on light I dont know what the scroll looks like, so here's probably a useless theory but its worth a shot, is everyone's scroll the same and if so what color, if any, and symbol does it have one it...And did anyone go to the tombs and hunt it down or the repository{hunting all the one's of that color/symbol} to see if anything happens? Like I said might be a useless theory but its worth a shot, that or my mind is just overworked and Im totally confuzzled lol{which isnt that hard to do, I confuzzle me all the time}. ~Tam~

Regardless... if its still up and CLucky has time tomorrow, i'll read all the color combonations for the previous three white scrolls and then try again. If that doesnt work, I know where neopets HQ is now and can raid some govermental building for a long ranged missle.

Try redoing the last scroll you read. (EG : Repeating the third blank space symbol). I know I had to after I read a White Ahn in Governmental Directories instead of Governmental Person Records (or something to that effect)

I'm afraid you will get the same result if you add any combination of letters at the end of that link.
For example: http://neopets.com/desert/ldp/index.phtml?chapter=abc
Also, adding any unused chapter number will give you the current chapter.

Try reading just the previous set of ryb+w scrolls. I messed up some things and only went back one set.

I think his point was epit doesnt take you to the last chapter, it takes you to a page that says 100% 1/1 or something like that...
