Just because TNT didn't outsmart this group of outside the box thinkers with the end of the plot doesn't mean they didn't do a good job. This is after all the crew that figured out how to read all those scrolls in all kinds of crazy orders. Did we really want TNT to slap together some convoluted plot twists that didn't fit the clues just to have an ending that no one mentioned? I would bet that more than half the folks on the Neoboards don't see this ending coming. Those members who enjoy puzzling things out enjoy finding out that they read the clues correctly. I just hope that the end of the game lives up to the puzzles they've put us through so far.

This is my first plot; I am not sure how it works. Do users typically "redeem" the last item they held at plot's end to get their "points"?

Well, this is really the first "mystery" plot since MI. For that one, there was a "race to the finish" at the end, and users were rewarded according to place in that race.

yeah, my light comes on at 8pm, 4am, and 12pm EST, but yours could be anytime....you just have to check back every hour till you figure out your times. sorry, more trial and error to wade through.

this is bad for me cus im not on the comp very often and this could jeapordise the amount of points i get in the end (not like i got much)

Is that referring to the Volcano Mystery Plot? Or was that something else?

The light comes on every eight hours, at the top of the hour and remains on for an hour. As long as you check at least once during each hour, you should catch it. If you need to be away from the compy for a while, you can check at the top of one hour and not return until the following hour is almost up. For example, refresh at 9:05pm NST, then leave and come back and check again at 10:55pm NST, giving you almost two full hours away :o (It IS better than one. :P )

yeah, that does suck....i guess just try to log on once an hour...maybe like at five till the hour so you can check during that hour and then wait five minutes to check the next hour block. then you don't have to be on very often.

Yes, that is the MI plot. Wow! That brings back a lot of memories! 8) Nice find - I didn't know anybody still had info on it up. Sure does make you more appreciative of the complexity of this one... though that volcano maze was pretty complex for the time. :P
*goes back to continue down memory lane*

I expect the fights to come some time after the next plot starts. This was a nice puzzle. Next will be, in my opinion, a nice, boring war that I will not fight in if it is all fighting.

7. If you do the above correctly, you will get a location. If you do it INcorrectly, just redo the last set (no need to start all over again). Read the COMBINED color as you mapped [purple, orange, green] (in the example, you'd read the ORANGE set) in that location. However, you will NOT get a confirmation message this time.

Right now I'm reading scrolls to get my 3rd crystal, but as I'm reading the scrolls I'm not getting any sort of confirmation message. I want to make sure I'm doing this right before I continue going up and down the stupid stairs.

I followed the instructions, and had no problems getting to this point. o_O

Are you trying one combination and not getting a result or have tried both (for a purple light say red and blue and then trying blue and red) and not gotting a result?

I didn't try that, I didn't want to think about going back up and down the stairs lol. I'll try that though. Thanks :)

EDIT: nope that didn't work either. Maybe my crystal is defective *shakes it*

For the second crystal, I'm 98% positive you do the colors in card catalog order. IF you aren't getting a room message after the correct primary pair, it could be that the program already thinks you've completed the secondary colored scroll. Go on to the next symbol and see if you get a room message from it after the primary pair.

Edit: If you've NEVER gotten a room message, you have a different situation entirely and should go back and recheck everything from matching the lights, all the way through. You should get a message from the first correct pair of primary colored scrolls.

Well I have a list I made that follows the card catalog that goes with the colors. I've done two sets so far and haven't gotten a message on either of them. =-/ Maybe I'm doing it wrong but I followed the instructions in the first post.

You can't move on to the second set until you've gotten the room message and finished up the first.

Here's the steps again, just to be sure:
Match up the lights to your tablet, as with the first lights.
A little color knowledge: Red, Yellow and Blue are primary colors and are mixed to make other colors. Orange, Purple and Green are secondary colors. Orange = red + yellow, Purple = red + blue and Green = blue + yellow.
Delete all the blanks and the primary colors from your list of symbols, so that you only have secondary colors left (orange, purple and green.)
Now put the symbols in reverse tablet order.
Now, break down each secondary color into it's primary colored pair. You'll have to read both primary colors in that symbol, then will be given a room message. Go to that room to read the secondary colored scroll of the same symbol.
Go to the card catalogs, note which order the colored racks appear in. Look up the location of each primary colored scroll. (Ex. For orange kha, look up yellow kha and red kha.) To decide which color to read first, go by the order of the colored racks. (If your racks are RYB, read the red kha, then the yellow kha.)
The only confirmation messages you will get are the room messages after each correct primary colored pair, and the next clue after the last correct secondary colored scroll.

Edit: Deleting quotes.

Now i'm confused agaaaain.. I hate this stupid thing.

So I got my second light, and I crossed out all the repeating colours and blanks in comparison to last time.

I got left with

P, G, G, P, P, P, O, O

Now, I do it in REVERSE order right? So I'd start with the first O?

So I broke it down into Red and Yellow, and my catalogue is RYB.
So I read the Red scroll first, than the yellow.. But I didn't get a location. :(

What am I doing wrong?
