Can we all agree that the puzzle was great (which it was) while the comic was a little too predictable (which it turned out to be)? I know I can agree to that. We had a really great puzzle, but the comic was less than inspired for the older players like us.

Well, as the comic says, Sakhmet gets restored as it was, so most probably the fruit machine will come back with it... so this will probably be a day or so after the comic gets out (so I guess tomorrow).

I liked the code aspect of the puzzle portion. It is nice how it was contingent upon our successful completion of the tablet and such. I did not care for navigating the repository. I thought that was just plain tedius. TNT should have implemented a drop down menu and a complete catalog of where to find scrolls. Oh big woop i can search for hours through all the scroll racks and finally see the one i need. That does not show any skill whatsoever. The drop down menu would include which floor you wanted to go to and a box at the bottom should allow you to type the coordinates of the place you want to be on that floor. That would have been really convenient. Do you not agree? As for the plot the story was trite and predictable. It would have behooved TNT to make Tomos and Nabile end up together and amira and jazan the like. In the least we should have seen some character development in Amira. The spoiled brat princess is just a plain and commonplace character. This was my first plot on Neopets and I really do look forward to the next. Thank you TNT and if you are reading this I hope you take our comments into account when developing the next plot.

I'm extremely far behind in this plot - I've gone to the directory already, and know which room i'm supposed to go to. However, I don't know which scroll to read! Does it matter?

You have to read the scroll of the symbol you've looked up and the colour of the directory. So if you, for example, searched for the location of the "tep" symbol in the red directory, then you have to read a red tep scroll. There will be only one of them in the room you're at.

I'm kinda confused as to why Scordrax was in the Battledome if he wasn't really involved in our puzzle finding (unless he was a red herring for when we did the bottle-crystal stuff.) As it is we were helping on the real side while it was causing havoc so it doesn't make any sense canon wise. I would have hoped they were more inclinded to have more fighting given what they hyped about in the editoiral (but I think everyone wanted out of that since the Maraqua war was crud.)

BTW whatever happened to Vyssa? O_o;

ok, you guys helped me out before but i don't honestly know why i cant get the second crystal. the link ti click on doesn't even show up, whether i use firefox or IE i tried copying and pasting the link and even trying different spike trap rooms, nothing seems to work, iny ideas????????? i am about to give up

I suppose you did try clicking on the left eye of the largest skull? If you did that and you didn't get the crystal, then there's two possible reasons:
you've either lost your first crystal (stolen by the pant devil for example), so you'll have to get another one from the chef in that case, or (most likely), you've read another scroll after getting the "sharp eye" message. In this last case, you have to read the 12 scrolls again in order to get the "sharp eye" message again and then you can get your second crystal.

Darnit, another wrong trap. You know, I wish they'd wait a day or two longer with closing this, I don't think they gave us nearly enough time to get all the crystals, compared to how much time we spent sitting on our bums waiting for the repository to be filled with scrolls. Especially since the Light was timed, and there are hourly waits between each trap, and walking around the repository takes SO darn long...and figuring it all out took a while, too.

If they close it tonight I won't have finished in time, I'm still looking for the jelly trap. No fair.

im sorry i dont know where to ask this but everyone seems to be able to get the last chapter of the ldp but i have only been able to see chapter 13 can someone pls help me out and show me where to go to see the last chapter to the plot PLEASE

turn off any pop-up blockers that are on.

i have it set to show me any blocked pop ups and besides im allowing all from this site anyways i had it set like that from the beginning but still nothing is there a special place i have to click

This bit with all your hard work being undone by having the pant devil steal your crystal or scroll is too much. I have a few friends it's happened to, and one is so upset over the thought of doing all this work for nothing or having to do it all over again. She's this close || to cancelling premium. But then again it's like biting off your nose to spite your face, because that isn't going to get her scroll back and she'll lose out on the rest of the fun.

It's not like it's just a bit of backtracking, some people had no idea it could be lost and didn't write down and save every step because they thought they had completed those steps for good. I just wish there was something I could do to help her :/
