Finally got my Mysterious Scroll. Then I started thinking...

Remember playing "games" on Neopets? You know, those things that you clicked, or made things move with the arrow keys, or even other keys on the keyboards? They gave you...don't tell me...oh, yeah, "Neopoints."

Remember having time to ask you Neopets, "How was your day?", and even listen to them, all trying to answer at once? Remember reading to them? Buying them toys? Watching them fix up their petpages? Remember when they didn't run and hide, afraid you would have them move more sand, or furniture, or send them back into the scary Temple or Repository?

Remember Neohomes and Neogardens? And when Lenny Conundrum was just another contest?

Wasn't it fun, then?

Yeah, and what about guilds... :P I think I used to see you around one:P

I've been puzzling over the scroll and am really just thinking we need to wait for the next bit of the plot to roll around because no theories seem to pan out. If there is anything at this point, someone's going to have to happen over it by chance.

I've always liked Snarkie Answers Stupid Questions though, or at least that's how I can't help but read it.

I've finally got all that stupid scroll reading done, but I'm now awaiting a riddle trap, but the last trap I went to was about 10 minutes ago. So, if I don't find one in about an hour, I'll have to wait until tomorrow to see my light again, and burn me if they don't find some way to end this before I do.

White scrolls done! Finally.

Now to wait for the light to come on in 2 hours... I was afraid I wasn't going to finish before it came on.

Still no bleeping Jelly trap here. I've done every step of the puzzle so far, and if TNT ends the plot tomorrow I'll miss completing it because I couldn't find the stupid Jelly trap.

I wish this forum had the "head beating against brick wall" emoticon.

Maybe they meant "This trap does not exist" literally...

@mdmb_07, maybe I can try to help:

A. First, you need to match up your Lights with the symbols from your Tablet. Then, cross out the Blank spaces and those that have not changed.
1 - Space - Set
2 - Red - Fer
3 - Purple - Nem
4 - Space - Nem
5 - Space - Ben
6 - Purple - Ahn
7 - Red - Saf
8 - Orange - Nem
9 - Space - Fer
10 - Blue - Kar
11 - Orange - Ra
12 - Green - Djo
13 - Orange - Ben
14 - Purple - Tep
15 - Purple - Kar

16 - Blue - Kha

B. You are now left with:
3 - Purple - Nem
6 - Purple - Ahn
8 - Orange - Nem
11 - Orange - Ra
12 - Green - Djo
13 - Orange - Ben
14 - Purple - Tep
15 - Purple - Kar

C. Now, starting from the BOTTOM and working BACKWARDS on your tablet, break down to the primary colors. You now get:

15 - Purple Kar = Blue Kar + Red Kar
14 - Purple Tep = Blue Tep + Red Tep
13 - Orange Ben = Red Ben + Yellow Ben
12 - Green Djo = Blue Djo + Yellow Djo
11 - Orange Ra = Red Ra + Yellow Ra
8 - Orange Nem = Red Nem + Yellow Nem
6 - Purple Ahn = Blue Ahn + Red Ahn
3 - Purple Nem = Blue Nem + Red Nem

D. Read each Symbol Set, based on your Catalog Order (in your case, Blue, Red, Yellow)
ie. Blue Kar (Lost Desert Genealogical Histories, Lat through Tep ), then Red Kar (Kar-Civil Records New Acquisitions, Water Room). You will then be given a location by your pet. Go there and Read the Purple Kar.

E. Continue for all 8 sets of 3, and you should get the next clue - "This clue does not exist"

Ok, so those who have the new message... Does this look familiar to anyone? http://www.neopets.com/neopedia.phtml?neopedia_id=118

Maybe that is Amira's mother lol and maybe Nabile is the real princess, and it looks like Nabile has already fallen in love and feeling sorry for Jazan so she will be happy to marry him, break the curse and they all live happily ever after. PLEASE TELL ME THAT ISN'T the way it goes!! lol

I like how they completely disregarded any 'canon' in slapping this plot together. For instance this quote from the Neopedia article on Princess Vyssa:
"Princess Vyssa is the daughter of King Coltzan III, and is as loved by all the inhabitants of Sakhmet as she is beautiful. She is next in line to her father's throne, and cannot wait to take over his rule. "

Then from the much more recent Amira article:
"Often overlooked because of her absence (due to official business) when her father King Coltzan III was assassinated, Princess Amira is currently a powerful figure in Sakhmet. As the eldest child of King Coltzan, the people look to her for guidance, and hope that the city of Sakhmet will one day be restored to its former glory."

Also, nevermind that King Coltzan III was assassinated before I even joined Neopets three and a half years ago; these girls are still Princesses....

Anyway, here's the ending I would like to see: Nabile goes to see Jazan to try to talk some sense into him. She immediately falls in love with him of course, since she's a silly little girl and he's a big powerful undeadmageprince who's just misunderstood. Jazan throws her to the mercy of a roomful of zombies for having the gall to wear his mommy's dress. Tomos stumbles onto an underground prison and frees Senator Barca, Advisor Wessle, and Princess Vyssa who storm the palace (while Tomos meanwhile gets eaten by the two-headed scorchio). Turns out that Amira is actually only the step neice of King Coltzan and managed to dupe the council and commoners into naming her successor, due to Vyssa's immaturity. During the intervening years in prison, Vyssa has matured nicely under her advisor's care and also become a powerful magician. She banishes Amira and her corrupt council from the city, cursing them to roam the desert forever more. Jazan, seeing her great power and control (and that she's the true Princess), falls in love with her and they get married. The curse is lifted, Jazan dissolves into dust, and Nabile and Tomos are never heard from again.
