....of the five that I wrote down while looking for a spike trap, two for sure stayed the same because one was a jelly and the other a puzzle. I didn't have to look around again. Yay!

Any chance you can get pics of your card catalogs?

Cause I think I see where you're going wrong. You're reading everything right in terms of color, but your reading the symbols in the order they appear on your tablet, not the order they appear in your catalog.

Oh, I also read on the neoboards that after the 4th crystal (I didn't write the post...) you smash the wall of the city model and get a scroll or something...

neomania: not sure if you were responding to me, but my page is refreshed upon every refresh, quite literally. I have never ever had any problems with ads or not seeing images, or redundant anything due to page refreshing (yes I use, prefer, and love IE). And I have taken a lot of screenies of my scroll racks and marked the Tomb traps I needed thus far as well.

I am not saying you are wrong, I was just posting my stats. Perhaps some users' change and some remain the same. A few times I could have sworn a scroll was not there, so started taking screenies (even after double and triple checking), and then it "appeared" (or I noticed it after 1-3 times?).

No it is just i remember going to annibus this was my first trip to annibus for the first crystal and i needed a red kah. I searched every scroll rack and could not find one. untill i got to the back of the room and finally there it was the last scroll rack. I went back to the same spot for my other crystals and the red kha was everywhere but not where it was when i needed it.

That actually sounds strikingly familiar! Anubis Toxicology 1st room, searched and searched. Took 50 screenies before I found it. Maybe the room is just so big that we all get lost in it as careful as we are, or maybe it is a glitchy room in general?

But on the whole, all the 50 ++ screenies I took, the scroll racks stayed exactly the same. I re-checked them to make sure of that. Still, that does not rule out the possibility that most all racks and scrolls remain the same, and perhaps ONE (the ONE you need) changes at a certain point, quantum-leap style.
