This scroll reading business is driving me bonkers! I just read a yellow set on the 3rd floor and now it wants me to read an orange set in Anubis Toxicology Reports! After that it wants me to read another scroll in the basement and then a scroll on the 4th floor! *sigh* I'm going to take a break and I'll try to read the orange set scroll in a bit...

A little advice for everyone - as you're doing every phase in the repository you should be taking every opportunity to go into the temple, go through a door, any door, note it's colour/shape/symbol and the trap it leads to - you'll regret it if you don't do this! Take the hour penalty then go in again and try a different door.
I spent 6 hours non-stop completing the final phase on the scrolls trying to get it done as quickely as possible. I've now been through 17 temple doors, with an hour betwen each, without finding a single riddle-room. It's gone beyond silly, into mindless, pointless, boring, nonsense. I'm thoroughly demoralised with the whole thing. Fed-up, down, wish I'd never started.

This is true, it will save mountains of time.....

This is a really smart idea. It took me like 24 tries straight to find a spike trap! fortunately I had written down all the wrong traps I'd gone through, so there was no searching for any of the rest of them.

You've assigned your colours the right way. Now make sure you are doing them from buttom right to top left on your tablet and to skip both the blanks and the primary colours. If you are already doing this, then post your card catalogues and I'll check them for you too.

I got my forth crystal, but I didn't get the new forutne teller saying. What did I do wrong?

you have to go get the light in the secret room, and then get the Mysterious Scroll from the hole in the wall.

The scroll is what you take to the Fortune Teller.

I've been thinking though, clearly there is more prophecy that we need, but this can't be it, because it's the same for all of us!

That is the only part she translates. However, she also says "there's a lot of nonsense up front," and I find that interesting.



The fortune teller must be as old as Jazan. And, again, I say Nabile!



I think you may be remembering them incorrectly. I've seen lots and lots and lots of combos for different people and I've never seen a repeat. Is there anyone else reading who DID have a repeat in the order of colors for the 4th crystal, that could confirm this?



Using the sequence of symbols on the catalogs to determine the color order has worked for enough people that it may well be worth trying that sequence first. Hangman's post does a good job of explaining it.


I would also suggest filling your inventory with junk items to decrease the chance of it being nabbed again. Do not move it from inventory - they tend to disappear if placed in the SDB or gallery.

IanB, I feel your pain! I spent almost as many hours on my final trap, after staying up all night figuring out the sequence for the 3rd crystal. Hang in there!

I just looked at the map and realized something. A few splits back I posted that I was having trouble in that exact same location. I looked at each rack no less than 5 times. Then I went to the other side of the racks and I saw it. I have no idea why I could not find it from reading the racks in the center of the room, but when I went to the right side of the racks, it was right there.

She did specifically say that Amira isn't a Qasalan princess, which could be true. Amira is a Sakhmetian princess which may not be the same bloodline as the Qasala royalty. However, Nabile could be of the bloodline of the Qasalan royalty. Jazan could've gotten stuck on the "Princess" part of the prophecy which is why he started stalking Amira. Hmm, I wonder where we've heard of the evil character not getting the full prophecy before.

Ok, as far as I see, the first two things to do are the following:

First read red set in Rejected Marriage Proposals.
Then read blue set in Sakhmetian Archives, Room 110.

This will give you the location of the purple set.

Then read red set in Rejected Marriage Proposals.
Then read yellow set in Artisan Licensing Records, Rukis.

This will give you the location of the yellow set.

As much as I want this bit to be over, I'm glad things didn't surge ahead too far while I slept. I've tried about 13 doors looking for my puzzle trap with no luck. I was trying doors while doing my 4th crystal running around in the repository. It was fun reading scrolls as sand. My first sequence was reverse card catalog color order, but the rest were just random. No repeats, even though I had a symbol repeat.
