I can CONFIRM that if you have a double, all you have to do is read the secondary colour twice. You don't need to go primaryx2, secondary twice.

Before I drop off, some people on the neoboards claim that once you put your 4th crystal in, the light becomes so bright that it breaks the wall and you get a mysterious scroll. If you take it to the fortune teller she says:
The fortune teller listens as you tell her the tale of finding the mystery scroll in the map room of the scroll repository. "Amazing! No wonder those architects were so tight-lipped about what they were building. Let met take a look at that scroll." You hand it to her. "Hmm... yes... I see... Ah ha! Of course! This is in an ancient dialect of Sakhmetian, and I think I recognize it. I believe it says... well, there's a lot of nonsense up front, but finally it says, 'The curse of Jazan will make Sakhmet disappear,' which is an awful lot like that prophecy you found before. But then it continues: 'Jazan must marry a true princess of Qasala to break the curse.' That explains why he wanted to marry Amira, but... she's not a Qasalan princess. Is she?" The fortune teller looks confused. "I wonder how we'll pull that off." She hands the scroll back to you.
Sounds plausible enough, if it's true the next logical step would be to tell Nuria 'The curse of Jazan will make Sakhmet disappear'

Okay, this may sound really stupid, but do we really need to see the light to start the next scroll search? I mean, do we need the light or just the crystal? I'm just wondering since I'm doubting I can get my lights before I get my next crystal.

Oh I'm so behind and I've been up since 7am yesterday. I chased around the repository and found all 12 of my scrolls I was supposed to read, my crystal told me to read them "Yellow, Blue, Red" so I did. Then I come here to lurk after I got no clue about spiky eyes and find that I had to read the scrolls in the order in the catalouge(sp) aswell as the colours. .............o_0.

Hiroko, I got the message but I was going to wait to post it for people, just because some may not want to know yet.
Anyway, once you do get the 4th crystal and you get light, the light will break a hole in the wall of the model room. You have to click on that hole to get the scroll you'll need. Then you'll get a new page with your pet and the scroll and you can click to go to the story and the Fortune Teller.
What happens now, I have no idea. I just hope it doesn't involve the tomb or repository again.

You do not need the light to search for the fourth scroll.

Is there any type of pattern in any of the third crystal? Like what symbol do we start with? Is it the first or the last or any I feel like doing?

Depends on which crystal you're working on. You need light if you're going for 3rd, you don't if you're going for 4th.

For getting the fourth crystal, this doesn't matter. Of course, for the other ones, you really need your light sequence...
And now I'm really off to bed, I wish my lights were on already, I'd like to see what saying that message to the statue does...

The symbols are left to right moving down your tablet. the color order is where it's a free for all.

did anyone ever map out the third floor? i can't find ruki population surveys, rimdolakian scrolls, secondary archival index....or am i just blind? i'm working on the third crystal, btw.
