Ugh. It already took hours to get the 3rd crystal with all this clicking.

So tired of the repository! At least there's a breather now. No light for another 3 hours.

Here's a shortcut for finding the RYB scroll order for the 3rd crystal.

instead of trying each combination BRY, then RBY, then YBR, etc; you can combine them. It only looks at the last 3 you read so you don;t have to start all over

read B,R,Y,B,Y,R,B,Y,B,R to cover bry, ryb, byr, yrb , rby, and ybr.

The lights won't help you one bit more. No sense in waiting for them.

Can anybody with the 4th crystal please either confirm or deny my theory that if no pattern repeats, even with duplicate symbols, each time you have one less option to check?

Okay, so I haven't "technically" got my crystal yet, but I'm on my way to retrieve the last white scroll, and I can say that even though I had seperated duplicates (fish, sun, trident-thing, sun) that every single one of my combinations was different, althought the loactions were of course the same.
My final order is: BYR, RYB, BRY, YRB

I would like to make the following request of the mods: please re-phrase the following in the first post, "5. Start at the BOTTOM of your tablet going in REVERSE order. 6. Using the idea of colors (Orange = Red + Yellow, Green = Blue + yellow, Purple = Red + Blue) break down each color and read its primary colors.
--> EX: You have an Orange Set. Read a RED set and YELLOW set. It seems that the order to read MAY be determined by your direct order."

This confused me a great deal the first, second, and third times I read it--and English is my native language ("What is 'direct order'? As in, give a direct order? As opposed to indirect order?--but then, what's that? Ack!"). I eventually figured it out by reading posts of people who gave examples of what to do in these steps. I suggest the following substitution, "5. Start at the BOTTOM RIGHT of your tablet and going in REVERSE order, that is, right to left, and bottom to top, list the symbols that you didn't cross out. 6. Using the idea of colors (Orange = Red + Yellow, Green = Blue + yellow, Purple = Red + Blue) break down each color into its primary colors. Now each of your remaining symbols has 2 primary colors assigned to it, instead of its 1 original secondary color.
--> EX: You have an Orange Set. List it as a RED set and YELLOW set. Decide which primary color comes first based on the color sequence of your card catalogs, going from left to right."

Yeah, it's longer, but the board is mostly discussing the later steps, so anyone who is still working on this part might have to wait awhile for help if they get confused.

Just doing my part to make sure enough pets finish this plot that they can gang up on the Foreman Yurble!

Doubletee your method will save alot of time but does it really work, I just read the 10 and somewhere in there the message will come up telling me the white scroll location?

UGH! Finished with my 2nd crystal scrolls. I just love going from Selected Royal Works (yes, I had one on the 5th level) to Anubis Toxicology... *twitch* I wish I were joking. I did get lucky though in that my last four were all right next to each other on level 1.

And yet this, it appears, is scarcely the beginning of pulling out my hair and gouging out my eyes.

This figures... my last white scroll, and where do they send me?? Of course, Anubis Toxicology Reports... *sigh* At least it's the last one

I'd laugh, but it might turn hysterical with tears thrown in. No, you have to have your crystal first. That repaints your card catalog.

My scroll card catalog did not change until I got jellied. I did start searching for a jelly trap before I was done with crystal2, though.
